Punjab new School Timing Notification Today 2024

Punjab School Education Department has announced the new school timing notification today which will be applicable from 15 August 2024.

In a notification issued by the department, the revised school timing schedule states that schools in Punjab will function under the following schedule.

New School Timings for Students:

Monday to Thursday 08:00 AM to 01:30 PM Single Shift schools
Friday 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Monday to Thursday 08:00 AM to 12:30 PM (morning shift) Double Shift/Afternoon
01:00 PM to 05:30 PM (evening shift)
Friday 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM (morning shift)
02:30 PM to 05:30 PM (evening shift)

According to the notification, morning shift schools will run from Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 1:30 pm while classes will end at 12 noon on Friday.

For schools with double shifts and afternoon shifts, the morning session will be from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The evening session will run from 1:00pm to 5:30pm, and the Friday evening shift will run from 2:00pm to 5:30pm.

After Ramadan 2024, School Timings have been changed in Punjab

All schools will be closed for students on Saturday and Sunday.

The notice states that the working hours for teachers in single shift schools will be from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm from Monday to Thursday. Will work on Fridays from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

In double-shift schools, teachers’ schedules will be 8:00 am to 2:00 pm for the morning shift and 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm for the evening shift, Monday through Thursday. Second shift school hours on Fridays will be from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm.

While on Saturdays the working hours of teachers will be from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Summer vacation in Punjab schools will end on August 14 and classes will resume on August 15.

Summer vacation in Sindh has been extended till August 14, 2024

Major decision to extend summer vacation in educational institutions. Sindh Education Minister has extended summer vacations in educational institutions across the province till August 14, 2024, notification issued.

On the direction of Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah, the Education Department has issued a notification to extend school holidays till August 14.

Govt announced Summer Vacations 2024 – Notification

He said that in view of the possibility of heat and rain, it has been decided to extend the summer vacation. Co-curricular activities will continue in schools from August 14. All private and government schools will organize programs regarding Independence Day.

Sindh Education Minister Sardar Ali Shah said that after the holidays, the new academic year in Sindh will start from August 15.

It should be noted that after the June-July holidays in Sindh, schools were supposed to open from August 1, but due to bad weather, schools will open from August 15, 2024.

Punjab Board announced 10th class matric result date 2024

Skywatchers will start their summer off with a treat – a full  sixth strawberry solstice moon. It will occur today on Thursday at 4:50 pm EDT, indicates the longest day of the year.

The Strawberry Moon will be at its peak on Friday at 9:08 pm EDT. According to NASA, the moon will be fully visible for three days around this period, starting Thursday night and ending Sunday morning.

The full moon will also appear significantly larger and lower in the sky because the summer solstice falls during the sun’s annual maximum. This is what the old farmer’s almanac calls the “moon illusion.”

Why is it called the Strawberry Moon?

According to the Almanac, the name “Strawberry Moon” was given to it by the Native American Algonquian tribes who lived in the American Northwest. The Ojibwe, Dakota, and Lakota tribes also used this name for the full moon in June for harvesting wild strawberries.

The Cherokee call the June moon the “Green Corn Moon” while the Tingut call it the “Birthing Moon” and the Cree call it the “Egg Moon” or “Hutching Moon”. The Choctaw call it the “Wind Moon” and the Arapho call it the “Moon When the Buffalo Bellows.”

Sacrifice (qurbani) is a sacred act of worship that Allah (S.W.T) has greatly encouraged. Every year during the holy month of Dhu al-Hijjah, Muslims around the world slaughter an animal (goat, sheep, cow or camel) to show the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) to sacrifice his son Ismail. There are several principles of sacrifice that must be followed in order for the slaughter of an animal to count as a sacrifice.

There is question in ever ones mind what what is Qurbani Ka Nisab in Islam this year 2024/1445.

For the sacrifice to be obligatory, a Muslim must have 7.5 tolas of gold, or 52.5 tolas of silver, or its monetary value to meet Qurbani ka Nisab 2024. Or his value in goods and things other than his basic need, such as his house and daily necessities.

Whoever has this wealth is called Nisab and it becomes obligatory on him to sacrifice and give Sadaqah al-Fitr. It was further said that if the aspirant and his father were the priests, then both of them should individually sacrifice their animals. (And Allah knows the best).

This fatwa is taken from Dar al-Afta, Pakistan. Binoria University International is founded on Islamic education. This seminary was founded by Maulana Mufti Muhammad Naeem under the patronage of his father Qari Abdul Halim in 1979 i.e. 1298 AH in Karachi, Pakistan.
