Village Chahrkey چاہڑکے is situated at Jokalian and Asad Ullah pur road. Its distance from Gujrat is 28 km and Phalia is 26 Km in the West. Mangowal is in the North of the Village just 10 Km. Chenab river is in the south of the village.


There were three brothers named as Long + Narang and Thakkar. Thakkar have three children named as Ratti Pindi + Chahrrke + and Kamonke. Chahrrke came here and started living here. So later on this village was called at the name of Kamonke.

Population of the village is round about 2,000 persons.


Area of the village is 36 Murabas.

Source of income of village comes agriculture sector. Government services, and most of the people are living abroad (Spain, America, England, middle east etc.)


There is no govt hospital in the village. But there is only One  Clinic of the Dr. Shahzad.

A small jungle (Baila) on the bank of Chenab river / River Chenab touches the Qadirabad Headworks and beatifies the environment. The overall atmosphere is totally pollution free and the atmosphere remains very pleasant during summer but cool during winter. The small jungle remains full of pheasants, birds, monkeys and a few pigs. The small sized but very dangerous snakes are often seen at riverside.
