The government of Pakistan has decided to increase the prices of petroleum products from September 1, 2023. In Pakistan, it has been decided to increase the price of petrol by 14 rupees 91 paisa per liter and the price of diesel by 18 rupees 44 paisa per liter, notification issued.
The new prices will be applicable from tonight, according to the notification. What will happen after the increase in the prices of petroleum products?

According to the notification issued by the Finance Minister, the price of petroleum in the international market has increased during the last fortnight. As a result, consumer prices in Pakistan are also being revised. Prices of petroleum products w.e.f. So 1st September 2023 will be as follows.

The government has already increased the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel by around Rs 37 on August 15, 2023. International Monetary Fund (IMF) loan conditions forced the government to pass on the burden of rising commodity prices to the public.
