Decision to increase the travel allowance of government employees by 50%. The Finance Department has issued a notification to increase the conveyance allowance.
The Finance Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued a notification for an increase in the conveyance allowance. According to the notification, all government employees from Grade 1 to Grade 20 and above will benefit from the increase.
The conveyance allowance of employees in grades 1 to 4 has been increased from Rs 1785 to Rs 2677. The conveyance allowance of employees in grades 5 to 10 has been increased to Rs 2898 per month.
According to the announcement, the conveyance allowance of employees in grades 11 to 15 has been increased to Rs 4,284 per month. The conveyance allowance of officers in grades 16 to 20 and above has been fixed at Rs 7,500 per month. The increase in conveyance allowance will be effective from July 1, 2026.
On the other hand, the Sindh cabinet also increased the conveyance allowance of government employees of the province. The travel allowance of employees from grade one to 16 has been increased.
