Fitness certificate made mandatory for motorcycles in Punjab
According to Radio Pakistan, the Punjab government has made fitness certificates mandatory for motorcycles across the province to reduce the risk of accidents.
A law has been amended to allow the issuance of a one-year fitness certificate after a motorcycle test. The Punjab government has already imposed a speed limit of 60 mph for motorcycles across the province.
The Department of Transport has encouraged the public to obtain a certificate after inspecting the fitness of their motorcycles.
