Diesel Price In Pakistan Is Likely To Increase By Rs 10 Per Litre
To meet the shortfall in revenue, the government has decided to increase the price of Petroleum Development Levy (PDL) over the next two months, which will result in an additional increase of Rs 10 per liter in the price of diesel.
While the government had set a target of collection of Rs 855 billion under PDL, the estimate was only Rs 680 billion. Therefore, to cover this gap of Rs 175 billion, the government has decided to increase the price of PDL on diesel by Rs 5 per liter from March 1 and by Rs 5 per liter from April 1, 2023.
At present, the government is levying a levy of Rs 50 per liter on petrol and High Octane Blending Component (HOBC) while diesel has a levy of Rs 40 per litre. Sources said that now it will also be reduced to Rs 50 per liter during the next two months.
Diesel is widely used in the agriculture and transport sectors, has a monthly consumption of more than 500,000 metric tons. Consumption in the 28 days of February was estimated at 565,000 metric tons. The price hike, however, is most likely to affect farmers entering the crop-sowing season – during which consumption typically increases.
Pakistanis will perform the most expensive Hajj in the history of Pakistan under the government scheme 2023
Global economic conditions and the devaluation of the Pakistani rupee have made it difficult to offer affordable Hajj packages. It is therefore expected that the expenditure of the Government Hajj Scheme may exceed Rs. 1 million
The announcement of the Hajj Policy 2023 by the federal government is expected by the end of this month. This year, 179,210 Pakistani nationals, including citizens above the age of 65, will have the opportunity to perform Hajj, according to the Saudi fixed quota.
According to reports, there will be no subsidy for Hajj this year from the Ministry of Religious Affairs. All Hajj 2023 applicants must have a bank account, a valid passport, 3 photographs, a COVID-19 test result, and their own and their heirs’ identity cards.
Earlier, Saudi Arabia also announced the expansion of its Nusuk program to facilitate the registration process for Hajj pilgrims globally. The unified portal streamlines the visa application, payment process, and booking of flights, accommodation, and transportation for pilgrims.
Program expansion provides greater convenience for visitors from Europe, the United States (US), Australia, and 58 other countries.
With so much diversity in such a small space, Europe is the ideal continent for work and study. It’s easy to bounce around during your stay or wander around a country you’re keen to get to know better. Working while studying abroad isn’t always an option, but in Europe, it’s achievable if you look in the right places.
Out of Europe’s 44 countries, each region has its own unique flair that can attract different people for different reasons. Western Europe has European staples like France and Germany, while Eastern Europe offers a fascinating smattering of Slavic countries like Poland, Romania and Belarus. Up north, you’ll find cozy Nordic countries and proper Brits, along with Iceland, the land of fire and ice!
Southern Europe’s Mediterranean waves are a dream come true, so there’s no going wrong when choosing a country.
Is it possible to study and work in Europe?
Should we write this article if you can’t? Of course, you can study abroad and work at the same time! You just need to figure out the best way to balance work and school, but you can definitely do it. There are a few things you need to set up in advance, and it can be a bit more complicated depending on the country. So let’s break it down.
There are many programs that work and study abroad for you, making it easier to organize the application and documentation because, well, it’s the program’s job to help you through the process.
It is also possible that you will have to establish yourself somewhat in the country you are studying in before you can get a job. Most countries have restrictions on how long you can work and how many hours a week.
Which Is The Best Country To Study Abroad And Work In Europe?
If you are looking for a place to study and work, Europe is the place to go. But now comes the age-old question: Which is the best country to study and work in Europe? Spoiler: One answer is no.
1. Spain:
Spain is known for its vibrant culture and vibrant people and it’s a great place to study and work abroad. Sunny beaches, rich heritage, and delicious food are a big draw, but what’s it like to study and work there?
Spain is a popular destination for international students, so the process of getting a visa and applying to universities is pretty straightforward. However, it’s important to note that non-EU students will likely have to pay a little extra (this is the case with most EU countries). The actual process for working in Spain while studying is pretty flexible, so you don’t need to worry about jumping through hoops.

However, it is important to note that non-EU students will have to pay a little extra. The actual process of working in Spain while studying is quite flexible, so you don’t have to worry about jumping through hoops.
You must apply for a permit from the local authorities to work up to 20 hours a week. However, you must have a student visa to do this. You can stick around until it expires, working your way down.
The cost of living will depend on what city you end up in, but on average, it’s a good place to get your money’s worth. It tends to be cheaper than the US or UK, with average monthly budgets ranging from 1,800-2,200 euros.

2. Sweden:
Sweden may be a little cooler than Spain, but the people are warm and cozy, like their coffee and their sweaters. With vast snowy landscapes, enchanting fjords, and the Northern Lights, it’s an absolutely charming place to settle down in. It’s also an easy choice for working and studying because all you need is your student visa!

Sweden is known for being environmentally friendly and innovative. Many universities teach courses in English, so you don’t need to worry about perfecting your Swedish before you arrive. Education is important to Sweden, so they made it free for their people. Unfortunately, as a US citizen, you don’t get cash on it. However, it can still be cheaper on average than many US establishments.
3. Germany:
Hearty food, beer for days, lakes galore, and an active lifestyle are staples of the German economy.
If this appeals to you, consider working and studying in Germany. But wait, there are some rules. First, you need to get permission from the Federal Employment Agency and the Aliens Office.
Again, the flexibility of hours is tighter for non-EU citizens. Working while studying in Germany is more complicated if you are coming from the US, Australia, or any non-EU member state. You are only allowed to work 240 half days or 120 full days a year, either in term time or during holidays. However, there are drawbacks depending on the job you choose.
If you are working as a student assistant, the 120 day rule can be thrown out the window! There are virtually no restrictions for university jobs. But you still need to contact the Aliens Registration Office to let them know that you want to work more hours.
4. Switzerland:
The compact country is filled with emerald snow-capped mountains, outdoor adventures, dollhouse-like villages and pristine lakes. If skiing on famous slopes and living in a virtually crime-free country appeals to you, Switzerland may be the ideal answer to your question about working and studying abroad in Europe.
Many people speak English, so you won’t face too many obstacles in your job search. Switzerland has a quota for foreign workers, but if you are there on a student visa, you do not need to apply for a separate work visa.
But you can only use it after you’ve been in the country for six months and only work 15 hours a week while you’re there. It may not be the most profitable option, but in terms of experience and culture, it’s definitely worth considering.
You can actually work and study abroad in France. You might even be able to study abroad in France for free! France isn’t just on this list because it’s full of historic art and divine pastries (though that’s a definite draw), but it’s also a great place for students to study and work abroad.
Like many countries on this list, you can only work part-time. But who wants to work full-time as a student anyway? There are different types of work visas in France depending on the type of work you are looking for. For example, if you end an internship, you need a contract signed by you, your employer in France, and your school or college back home.
You may also need to prove financial security. However, the basic rule is that with your student visa, you can work in France for up to 964 hours a year. If you’re working for the university you attend, contracts may differ slightly, so don’t hesitate to reach out to people in the departments you’re hoping to work in.
6. Italy:
Italy can be a bit expensive, but if you play your cards right, it can be affordable. But making a little money on the side is never a bad thing. If you are on a student visa, Italian laws will only allow you to work 4 hours a day and a maximum of 20 hours a week.
However, if you wish to take up a full-time position before graduating, you can convert your Italian residence permit from a study to a work permit, but only within the annual quota established by law.
7. Norway:
You might not get all the perks as a student worker, but that doesn’t mean you should write Norway off your list! Norwegians are very reserved but still relaxed.
They rarely complain and prefer to spend time relaxing rather than stressing about to-do lists. The cost of living in Norway is high according to expats, but wages are at a reasonable rate so you can afford it at an average hourly job.
Before you can start looking for work, you will need your student’s permission. But then you can work 20 hours a week during your studies and full-time between semesters.

The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) in the UAE has revised a number of visas and entry permits under its smart services system.
UAE New Residence Visa Rules 2023
About 15 services and processes have been revised. One of the changes includes that a person’s residence visa will not be renewed if they stay outside the UAE for more than 6 months.
The ICA (Identity and Citizenship) has added additional options to cancel and change visa information for registered GCC nationals who do not hold Emirates ID. The changes also include services for extending a relative’s or friend’s visit visa for 30, 60, and 90 days for one or more visits and extending the visa’s pre-entry period.

Persons with disabilities are not required to submit fingerprints during applications for issuance, renewal and replacement of passports. A service has been launched to issue a group family visa for tourism, medical treatment, and companion of the patient, with single and multiple entry options for 60 and 180 days.

Shab E Meraj Fasting
Like other acts of prayers and worship, Muslims are encouraged to fast the following day. Ascension is being celebrated tonight. Muslims can fast the next whole day according to the Ramadan fasting rules.
The reward of Shab e Meraj Fasting is more than the fasts of the whole month of Ramadan.
Shab E Meraj Ki Fazilat
One can say that the Night of Ascension is one of the best nights in Muslim history and no one can deny it, not even any sect of Islam can deny it because it is directly related to Muhammad. Is best night and best evening after distributing sweat to the needy.
Worshiping Shab e Miraj in Urdu is an important question that is mostly asked online as well as Islamic scholars. It is a kind and focused mindset to get an idea about the Nawafl of Shab Miraj before night falls. But if you still miss it, I would like to share it with you guys.
The Night Journey, also known as Shab e Meraj, Isra, and Mi’raj or al-Israa wal Mi’raj, is celebrated on the 27th day of the month of Rajab (the seventh month of the Islamic calendar). The literal translation of Shab Miraj is Night of Ascension.
This event is celebrated on the night when the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W) ascended to Heaven from Masjid Al-Haram in Makkah. One of the great gifts of that night was that Faraz Salah (obligatory prayer) was established on Muslims. Like other events and occasions of our Prophet’s blessed life, the night journey is a rich source of inspiration and lessons for all humanity.
Shab E Meraj Full Story
This miraculous journey of ascension took place in two parts. First, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) traveled from Makkah (Kaaba) to Jerusalem (Masjid al-Aqsa) and then ascended to heaven by the order of Allah.
The night began with the presence of the chief of all angels Gabriel (A.S) in the presence of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W). He then took Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) from Masjid al-Haram (Kaaba) to Masjid al-Aqsa in Jerusalem. This part of the Prophet’s journey is described in the Holy Qur’an:
“Glory be to Him who took His servant by night from Masjid al-Haram to Masjid al-Aqsa, in the vicinity of which We have placed blessings, to show him Our signs. Indeed, He is Hearer, Seer.” (Surat al-Israa 1:17)
The mode of transportation used for this journey in the middle of the night was a horse-like animal called Al-Burraq which was sent by Allah from Jannah (Paradise). After riding this celestial ride, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) reached Masjid al-Aqsa from Masjid Al-Haram in just one second.
On reaching Masjid al-Aqsa, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) realized that all the prophets who came before him were already there. These prophets include Ibrahim (A.S), Isra (A.S), Musa (A.S) and all other prophets. Here, Muhammad (peace be upon him) offered the two rak’at prayers of all the prophets.
After that, two bowls were brought to the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him). One cup was filled with wine and the other with milk. He looked at them and chose milk. Jibrael (peace be upon him) said to him:
Praise be to Allah who guided you to Fitrah (purity and innocence). If you chose alcohol, your Ummah would have gone astray. (An-Nisa: 5657)
We are about to enter the new year with positive hopes for the automobile industry. While motorcycle users in Pakistan are eager to see some new surprises in the new year, we have done a brief analysis of motorcycle Honda bike price in Pakistan today February 2023.
One of the biggest signs of living in a hyperinflationary economy is that people often fail to keep track of changing prices. The same is happening in Pakistan as prices (it seems) change on a daily basis. Honda, the largest bike manufacturing and selling company in Pakistan recently increased the prices of its bikes on 1st February 2023 and yet it has again increased the prices by another Rs 35,000 on 16th February 2023.
We can only hope that companies end this trend of price gouging and start thinking about the common man. People are already fed up with these price hikes as the November 2022 bike sales figures show a big drop compared to 2021. People are now preferring to buy used bikes instead of new ones.
This read specifically focuses on Honda Bike Price for February 2023. Let’s dive into the details to find out everything you need to know.
