Summer Solstice and Strawberry Full Moon

Strawberry Full Moon June 2025: When, Where, and How to See It

The full Strawberry Moon 2025 rises on Thursday evening, casting a pink glow behind the afternoon rain showers.

The Strawberry Moon’s name does not come from its color, but rather its appearance, which actually occurs during the summer strawberry harvest.

Strawberry moon date and time:

The moon will be visible in the sky on the night of June 10 and the morning of June 11, rising at about 8:30 a.m. EST and setting at about 3:44 a.m. The best time to view will be around dusk on Tuesday.

As the moon rises above the horizon, it may take on a warm hue due to atmospheric scattering.

Adding to its uniqueness, the 2025 Strawberry Moon is a micromoon — a full moon that occurs when the celestial body is near its farthest point from Earth in its orbit. This means it will appear about 14% smaller and 30% dimmer than a typical full moon, making it appear farther away in the night sky.

April’s Full Pink Moon will occur in 2025

This year brings an even rarer twist: The Strawberry Moon coincides with a major lunar eclipse, an event that only happens once every 18 to 19 years. During this event, the moon’s path across the sky is at its lowest angle, causing it to rise and set unusually far north or south, and appear lower in the sky than usual – a stunning visual treat for skywatchers and astronomers.

Motorway and National Highway Police New Challan Rates and Toll plaza tax

Lahore Traffic Police introduced 5 new traffic laws

Lahore Traffic Police has recently introduced a bold and strict new traffic laws to curb traffic violations and reduce the number of fatal accidents on the roads.

In a significant move, they have decided to stop issuing challans (fines) for major traffic violations. Instead, violators will now face direct arrest or an FIR (First Information Report).

Traffic Police New Laws

  1. Unregistered vehicles: Most of these are two-wheelers that are attached to vehicles and often go unnoticed. These vehicles are now being strictly checked.
  2. One-way violation: So far, 536 people have been arrested for driving the wrong way. This dangerous act not only leads to accidents but also creates major traffic jams.
  3. Underage driving: Authorities are planning new laws to hold parents accountable as well. They will be considered aggressors and could face legal action if their underage children are caught driving.
  4. Overloading Loader Rickshaws: Many rickshaws are so overloaded that the driver cannot see behind them. This leads to accidents and creates serious safety hazards.
  5. Reckless Driving: Speeding, unnecessary overtaking, and dangerous driving patterns will no longer be tolerated.

This step is being taken to make people more serious about traffic rules. According to officials, many drivers ignore challans and continue to break the law, which puts lives at risk. Therefore, now the traffic police will take strict legal action on the spot.

NHA has increased motorway and highway toll tax rates 2025

Another important step involves creating a digital footprint of every violation. This means that if someone breaks the law, the record will be stored online as evidence.

Also, once an FIR is filed, the violator will not be able to get a job in the police or any government department in the future. This adds to the long-term consequences of their actions.

This new policy by the Lahore Traffic Police shows that they are serious about making the roads safe for everyone. It is now up to the public to follow the rules and drive responsibly.
