Sui Southern Gas Company has shared gas load shedding for Ramadan 2024. SSGC has confirmed that gas supply will not be suspended during Sehri and Iftari hours during Ramadan.
A total of 10 hours of gas will be provided to domestic consumers. Gas will be supplied to domestic consumers from 3 am to 6 am. Gas will be supplied to domestic consumers from 3 pm to 10 pm.

The fee for a 36-page passport for a period of 5 years has been increased from Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,500. Normal fee for 72 page passport for 5 years will be Rs 8,200. The fee for normal passport for 10 years has been increased from Rs 4,500 to Rs 6,700. A normal passport of 100 pages for a period of 10 years will cost at Rs 12,400.
Similarly, the government of Pakistan has increased the fee for urgent passport. Urgent fee for 5 years passport having 36 pages has been increased from Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,500. Urgent fee for 10 years passport has been increased from Rs 7,500 to Rs 11,200.
Urgent fee for 5 year passport having 72 pages will be Rs 13,500. Similarly, A urgent passport of 100 pages for a period of 10 years will be Rs 20,200.

OGRA has Revises Petrol Prices in Pakistan for Next 15 Days from March 1, 2024. Notification Issued
According to the notification issued by the Finance Division, after an increase of Rs 4.13, the new price of petrol has now become Rs 275.62 per liter which was Rs 275.62 earlier. The price of High Speed Diesel (HSD) and Light Speed Diesel are not changed.
A record number of Pakistanis are reaching the passport office due to Hajj. Passport offices face the influx of thousands of applicants on a daily basis. Due to which the passport office timings have been changed.
The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports said that passport delivery counters across Pakistan will remain open on weekends (Saturday, Sunday) till March 15, 2024.
DG Immigration and Passport Mustafa Qazi said that the aim of the new initiative is to provide convenience to the pilgrims. He said that Hajj pilgrims can also visit passport delivery centers on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) till March 15, 2024.
He added that those traveling abroad can reach the passport office from 9 am to 1 pm, including Fridays, to get their passports.
Biometric verification is part of the process, after which passports are submitted to banks. The spokesperson emphasized the importance of meeting the scheduled dates for the pilgrims.
The government has started preparations for a further increase in the prices of petroleum products from March 1, 2024. According to media reports, the price of petroleum products is likely to increase after electricity and the government is preparing to increase the prices of petroleum products from March 1.
