Summer Solstice and Strawberry Full Moon

April’s Full Pink Moon will occur in April 2025

The first full moon of spring, known as the Pink Moon, will rise on Friday, April 12, 2025, offering a spectacular view across North America and beyond.

Although it won’t actually look pink, the moon’s name comes from the pink phlox flowers that bloom in early spring, signaling the arrival of the season. The full moon will reach its peak at 8:23 p.m. EDT on Saturday, April 12.

It will rise in the eastern sky just an hour before the peak of the full moon in some areas, a rare occurrence.

The first Super Blue Moon will be shown in Pakistan

For people in eastern North America, including New York and Los Angeles, the moon will rise near sunset. In New York, sunset is at 7:32 PM EDT, and moonrise is at 7:31 PM EDT.

In Los Angeles, sunset will be at 7:22 p.m. PDT, and the moon will rise at 7:26 p.m. PDT. Meanwhile, in London, the moon will rise at 8:52 a.m. BST on Sunday, April 13, followed by sunset at 7:53 p.m.

Is pink moon visible in Pakistan?

In Pakistan, the full Pink Moon will be visible on Sunday, April 13, 2025, with moonrise in Karachi at approximately 9:08 UTC. The full moon will be visible all night, as it rises in the east at sunset and sets in the west at sunrise.

This full moon is also important in its connection to Easter. It is the “Paschal Moon,” the first full moon after the spring equinox, which determines the date of Easter Sunday. This year, Easter falls on Sunday, April 20.

Looking ahead, the next full moon will be the Flower Moon on May 12, 2025. There are a total of 12 full moons in 2025, including three supermoons and two total lunar eclipses, one of which will be visible in Karachi on September 7-8.

Saudi Arabia Passport Sticker Visa System

Saudi Arabia banned multiple-entry visas for 14 countries

Saudi Arabia has revised its visa policies for travelers from 14 countries, including Pakistan, banning multiple-entry visas for business, tourism and family visits due to the annual Hajj period.

The new visa policy rules came into effect from February 1, 2025. Previously, visitors from these 14 countries could obtain a one-year multiple-entry visa. Now, they can only obtain a single-entry visa for 30 days. This rule applies to tourists, business visitors, and family visitors.

This change affects travelers from Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sudan, Tunisia and Yemen.

Saudi Arabia has announced a new visit visa policy for 14 countries

Meanwhile, there have been no changes to Hajj, Umrah, diplomatic, or residential visas. Hajj travelers should register early, update their health information, and add the names of accompanying pilgrims.

Saudi authorities have cited several reasons behind this decision. Primarily, the top concern is unauthorized participation in the Hajj. Previously, many pilgrims entered Saudi Arabia on multiple-entry visas but stayed illegally to perform Hajj. As a result, this created overcrowding and security risks.

The second reason was illegal employment. Some travelers entered Saudi Arabia on business or family visas but engaged in unauthorized work. Naturally, this practice violated visa regulations and caused labor market irregularities.

How to get New currency notes on Eid 2025 in Pakistan

As the holy month of Ramadan progresses and the joys of Eid al-Fitr draw near, Pakistanis are eagerly preparing for the joyous tradition of giving Eid gifts to their loved ones, usually in the form of new currency notes.

In the past, the central bank used to issue fresh currency notes worth millions of rupees before Eid al-Fitr. However, since the coronavirus pandemic, this practice has been stopped. As a result, Pakistanis have had to make do with torn notes to celebrate Eid.

New currency notes on Eid 2025

Sources claim that the chances of new notes being issued on Eid 2025 are very slim. Although the State Bank has not made any official announcement regarding the issuance of new notes, it is unlikely that the central bank will issue new currency notes for Eid-ul-Fitr.

On the other hand, currency dealers will continue to sell new notes at high prices on the black market, as per tradition. This means that those who want to give new notes as Eid gifts will have to buy them at a higher price.
