The federal government has announced a reduction in branded ghee and cooking oil prices at utility stores Pakistan.

This reduction will be from 37 to 60 rupees per kg of ghee and oil respectively. It is worth mentioning here that the announcement of reduction in ghee and cooking oil prices came after the drop in the value of the US dollar for the third consecutive day in the interbank and open market.

It is said to be a sigh of relief for the inflation-stricken public who are suffering from skyrocketing prices. This adjustment is expected to provide relief to consumers who depend on cooking oil for their daily food needs.

Public got relief from inflation, Utility Stores Corporation Pakistan officials issued a notification to reduce the prices of branded ghee and oil. The price of branded ghee has been reduced by Rs. 37 to Rs. 59 per litre.

Although Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that people should be patient and Pakistan’s economy will recover in the near future.

Govt Has Reduced The Prices Of Ghee And Cooking Oil In Pakistan

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that the government of Pakistan has reduced the prices of ghee and edible oil at utility stores.

In his message on social networking site Twitter, Ishaq Dar said that prices of ghee and edible oil have been reduced at utility stores. The price of Tyrone brand ghee has been reduced by Rs. 69 and the price of cooking oil has been reduced by Rs. 76 per litre.

He said that the price of subsidized ghee has reached Rs 490 per kg. The price of Tyrone Ghee is Rs 545 to Rs 577 per kg. The price of Tyrone cooking oil is Rs 540 to 590 per kg.

The Finance Minister said that the price of second grade ghee is Rs 20 per kg less than the market price. Tier 1 ghee at utility stores is Rs 8 to Rs 35 per kg cheaper than the market. Tier one cooking oil is Rs 40 to 78 cheaper than the market.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that reduction in prices of ghee and edible oil at utility stores will be implemented immediately.
