Under Sasta Petrol Scheme, Federal government plans to provide cheap petrol to motorcycle owners which is likely to start soon in Pakistan.
According to officials, the federal government has sought the data of provincially registered motorcycles from the Excise and Taxation Department for a scheme to provide cheap petrol to motorcycle owners, which will be linked to NADRA. After checking the details of motorcycle owners, they will be given cheap petrol every month.

Department of Excise and Taxation Balochistan has provided the data of registered motorcycles to the federal government according to which the number of registered motorcycles in Baluchistan is more than 5 lakh.
