Academic Prerequisites to Join Pakistan Army

► Minimum CGPA 2.5 out of 4 or Min 60% Marks in annual system.
► M.Phil/ MS will be given preference.
► No 3rd Division or Grade D and only one 2nd Division/ Grade C throughout the academic career.
► Candidates only graduated from HEC/PEC recognized universities.
► Candidates acquired education as private student are not eligible.

Documents Required at Army Selection and Recruitment Centres

► Original certificates/ detailed mark sheets along with two attested photocopies of each educational certificate/ degree/ diploma.
► Candidates serving in government Institutions/ Departments will render No Objection Certificate of the concerned Establishment.
► Attested photo copy of domicile.
► Photocopies of computerized National Identity Card.
► 6 x coloured photos duly attested (front & back).
► Crossed postal order of Rs. 100.00 in favor of Director General Personnel Administration (DGPA), General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi.
► Candidates must bring their degrees duly verified by HEC/PEC.

PMA 149 Long Course 2021 Details:

Selection Procedure to Join Pak Army PMA 149 Long Course 2021:

a) Online Registration
To apply online, please visit: www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk
Registration Date: 04 Oct 2021 – 06 Nov 2021

b) Written/ Intelligence Test
Multiple choice questions from Academic course, General Knowledge & Intelligence.

c) Initial Medical Test
Candidates who successfully cleared written test will be called for Initial Medical Test/Examination at Army Selection & Recruitment Center.

d) Physical Test

  1. Run: 1.6 Km in 8 minutes
  2. Pull-Ups: 03 repetitions in 2 minutes
  3. Push-ups: 15 repetitions in 2 minutes
  4. Crunches: 20 repetitions in 2 minutes
  5. Ditch Crossing: 7’.4 feet

e) Interview
Successfully shortlisted candidates will be called for the ISSB test & Interviews at different AS & RC.

 

Pakistani National Residing Abroad:

Eligible candidates residing abroad are exempted from Preliminary Selection. However, Defence Attaches will ascertain their overall suitability, physical deformity, and stammering aspects. The candidates are advised to approach Pakistani Embassies (Military/Defence Attaches) in the country where residing for issuance of Application Forms.
