Price Of Petrol In Pakistan
Government’s decision to increase the prices of petroleum products. Decision to increase the price of petrol in Pakistan by Rs 17.50 per liter and the price of diesel by 20 rupees per liter, Notification issued.
The new prices will be applicable from 12 AM tonight, Notification. What will petroleum prices be after the increase?

According to the nofiticaiton issued by finance minister, Pertoleum prices in the international market have increased during the last fortnight. As a result the consumer prices in Pakistan are also being revised. The prices of Petroleum products w.e.f. 16th August, 2023 will therefore be as follows.
Today Petrol Price In Pakistan [15 August 2023]
The government has already increased the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel by around Rs. 20 from August 1, 2023. International Monetary Fund (IMF) loan conditions forced the government to pass on the burden of rising commodity prices to the public.
It should be noted that the government is charging a petroleum levy of Rs. 55 per liter on petrol and Rs. 50 per liter on high-speed diesel. A possible increase in their prices may affect inflation in August.
