Ramadan school timing in Punjab 2025 new Notification

The Punjab School Education Department (SED) has officially released a notification, reorganizing the new school hours for Ramadan 2025, which will be seen in all primary, elementary, higher and higher secondary schools in the province.

The new time will apply to single shift and double shift schools in the holy month of Ramadan.

Ramadan school timing in Punjab 2025

According to a notification issued by the Punjab SED, the single School will open from Monday to Thursday from 08:00 am to 01:00 pm. On Friday, single shift schools will be closed at 12:30 pm.

For a double shift/afternoon school, school at Morning Shift will open from Monday to Thursday from 08:30 am to 12:30 pm.

In the second shift, school will open from Monday to Thursday from 01:00 pm to 04:00 pm. On Friday, the second shift school will open from 02:30 pm to 05:00 pm.

The opening and closing time for girls schools shall be 15 minutes earlier than above motioned timings.

Ramadan 2025 Expected School Timings in Punjab

Ramadan 2025 is just a few days away. Students and parents are eagerly awaiting the new school hours for the month of Ramadan. No changes have been made to school timings in Ramadan 2025 in all government and private institutions in Punjab, Pakistan.

But it is being revealed that in a few days, the School Education Department of Punjab will issue a notification of new working hours in all government and private schools and colleges across the province.

Expected Ramadan School Timings in Punjab

If the working hours of schools are changed during Ramadan, according to the new hours, boys’ schools will open from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm from Monday to Thursday, while educational institutions will open until 12:30 am on Friday.

While girls’ schools will open at 8:15 am and close at 12:45 pm from Monday to Thursday, on Fridays girls’ schools will open from 8:15 am to 12:15 pm.

Sindh govt notification for Ramadan school timing 2025

Schools that operate in two shifts will follow a different schedule. Double-shift schools will open from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm on the first shift and from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm on the second shift, Monday through Thursday. On Friday, second-shift schools will open from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

It is also expected that the morning assembly will remain closed during the holy month of Ramadan. School timings for ECE and Nursery may be from 08:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
