Saudi Arabia Introduced A Three-Month Temporary Work Visa

According to a labor portal, Saudi Arabia has introduced a three month temporary work visa that can be issued instantly without documents. 

The visa enables businesses to issue a temporary work visa that allows the holder to work on the Qiwa platform for up to three months from the date of entry.

This visa, which can be extended for the same period (three months), allows the holder to work for a specified period of time without the need to issue a work permit and residence permit. The visa application must be submitted by the business owner or the commissioner of the Qiwa business.

  2. Choose temporary work visa service from e-services
  3. Click on Submit temporary work visa request
  4. Fill all the fields
  5. Submit the request for a temporary work visa

Saudi Arabia Work Visa Requirements

A temporary work visa is issued instantly by Qiwa and requires no documentation. The visa is electronic and valid for one year.

The Visa Can Be Rejected Due To

Reasons for rejection of a temporary visa application include insufficient balance in the unified number of enterprises on Abshar and rejection by the Ministry of Interior.

The work visa balance package can be canceled and the official fee refunded. A cancellation request must be submitted by the business owner or commissioner who designated the platform.

Qiwa is an electronic platform that provides access to various services in the labor sector of the Ministry of Human Resources.

Temporary work visa service regulations require that the enterprise must be active and have a valid commercial registration except for activities that do not require commercial registration.

Further, enterprises under the same unified number should not have any expired work permits and the Abshar account should have sufficient credit in the national unified number of the enterprise.
