The Govt school timing has been changed after Ramadan 2023. After Ramadan and Eid Ul Fitr, it has been decided to change the timings of all schools in all districts across Punjab province from 26th April to 15th October 2023. Govt School Timing Notification Punjab 2023 has been issued by the department.
Mandi Bahauddin (MBDin News 25 April 2023) According to the details, with the arrival of summer season, it has been decided to change the timings of all schools across the Punjab province from 26th April. It has been decided to change the working hours of schools across the province from April.

According to the Academic Calendar issued by the department, the single shift boys schools will open at 7:30 am and will close at 1 pm from Monday to Thursday and Saturday, on Friday boys schools will closed at 11:30 am. Single shift Girls school will open 15 minutes before boys school, and girls schools will open at 7:15 am and will close at 12:45 pm from Monday to Thursday and Saturday. On Friday, girls school will close at 11:15 am.
Double shift boys schools will open at 7:00 am to 12:00 pm from Monday to Thursday and Saturday, while on Friday, the boys schools will close at 11:00 am which will be implemented in morning shift. While double shift boys schools in evening shift will open at 12:30 pm to 04:30 pm from Monday to Thursday and Saturday, while on Friday, the boys schools will open at 02:30 pm to 05:30 pm, which will be implemented in evening shift.
Double shift girls schools will open at 06:45 am to 11:45 am from Monday to Thursday and Saturday, while on Friday, the girls schools will close at 10:45 am which will be implemented in morning shift. While double shift girls schools in evening shift will open at 12:15 pm to 04:15 pm from Monday to Thursday and Saturday, while on Friday, the girls schools will open at 02:15 pm to 05:15 pm, which will be implemented in evening shift.
It is pertinent to mention here that the school timing for ECE (Early Childhood Education) and Nursery will be from 07:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
