Summer Vacation 2023 In Punjab

The Punjab government has decided about the summer vacations in public and private schools of the province. Summer vacations 2023 in Punjab will begin from June 6, 2023 to August 20, 2023 this year.

Summer holidays in Punjab will start with effect from 06-06-2023 to 20-08-2023. Thus the schools in Punjab will observe only two months and 14 days of Summer holidays this year.

Now schools have started giving summer vacation homework to the students. School Education Department (SED) Punjab has directed schools to assign summer holidays work till 5th June, 2023. Private schools in Punjab province will also follow public schedule for holidays. Summer vacation notification seems to appear this week.

The government has already distributed a new curriculum to schools so that children can prepare for it in the summer vacation of 2023.

All the provincial governments will issue summer vacation notification for 2023. The Sindh government and Punjab government has also decided summer vacations in June this year. Students enjoy summer vacations and sightseeing in the northern regions of Pakistan like Murree, valleys and other cold regions of the country.

On the other hand, some colleges and academies start summer camps for the betterment of students. Students who are weak in their studies can go to these academies and colleges.

Students must receive their vacation homework before 5th June, 2023. Almost all primary schools in Punjab have conducted their annual examinations in May. Government and private schools in Punjab have promoted students to the next classes. But the students will join their next classes in August 2023.

Parents should contact their children’s schools to inquire about performance. They should hire tutors for their children’s studies. The duration of summer vacations across Punjab is two months.
