Petrol Prices In Pakistan

The caretaker government of Pakistan has decided to maintain the prices of petrol and high speed diesel (HSD) till the first fortnight of the new year 2024.

As per the current prices, petrol will now be sold at Rs 267.34 per litre, while high speed diesel will be priced at Rs 276.21 per litre from January 1st, 2024.

Petroleum Prices In Pakistan Today

After the reduction in the price of hi-speed diesel in Pakistan by Rs 7 the new price has become Rs 289.71. After the reduction in the price of kerosene by Rs. 3.81, the new price has become Rs. 201.16 per litre.

It should be noted that on November 16, the federal government had reduced the prices of petroleum products by about Rs. 23.

Prices depend on current tax rates and import prices, which are mainly due to fluctuations and increases in international oil prices. It should be noted that the government is charging a levy of Rs 2 per liter on petroleum. Rs 55 per liter on petrol and Rs 50 per liter on high speed diesel. A possible increase in their prices may affect inflation in November.
