Abu Dhabi Airport Has Been Renamed – What Is New Name?
Abu Dhabi International Airport of United Arab Emirates has been renamed as Sheikh Zayed International Airport.
According to the Arab media, the name change of Abu Dhabi Airport will be applied from February 9, 2024, the day on which Terminal A covering 742 thousand cubic meters will be officially opened.
Abu Dhabi Airport New Terminal
After Abu Dhabi Airport’s Terminal A becomes operational, it can accommodate 79 aircraft at a time. And there will be a capacity of 45 lakh passengers annually.
Terminal A has started trial and partial operational. However, it will become fully operational on February 9, 2024, and Abu Dhabi Airport will be renamed Sheikh Zayed International Airport from that day.

It should be noted that Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan was the founder and first president of the United Arab Emirates who died in 2004 at the age of 86. He led the UAE on the path of development and made it a modern country.
