Honda CD 70 Motorcycle 2025 model price in Pakistan is Rs 157,900. There is no difference between the new price and the old price. However, the price may be affected after the approval of the Federal Budget 2024-25 proposals in the coming month.

Now poor and homeless people will get their house with maximum discount in very easy installments which will be launched by Maryam Nawaz on 14 August 2024. Families who are eligible for this scheme have to fulfill some important criteria
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz announced a new scheme for families in Lahore. The Punjab government will initiate this initiative and more than 3000 apartments will be distributed among the poor in each district of Punjab. During the first phase of the project, one lakh flats will be constructed at six locations in Punjab province.
How to Apply for Apni Chat Apna Ghar Scheme?
The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) will develop an online portal for the ‘Apni Chat Apna Ghar’ scheme. This will enable eligible persons to easily apply for the scheme online. Details of the scheme can also be obtained from the offices of Deputy Commissioner and Assistant Commissioner of the concerned district.
Buyers will be able to avail the project with a 40% down payment and a monthly installment plan of Rs 26,000, with a 60% subsidy from the provincial government. Each flat is priced at Rs 1.5 million (15 lakhs).

According to the statement issued by the Chief Minister of Punjab, 14th August 2024 has been selected as the launch day. He also announced that only family members will be able to register for this scheme and the scheme will be launched in almost all districts of Punjab.
Apni Chat Apna Ghar scheme Eligibility Criteria
Following are some of the eligibility criteria to register for that scheme
Citizenship or residency status in Pakistan.
Age should not be less than 18 years
Must provide source of income
Adheres to the rules and regulations of the system
Income should not exceed Rs 60,000 per month.
Preference may be given to families in need of casework support or those with low incomes.
Apna Ghar Apni Chhat cities list

Good news for Pakistanis going to America. The US Embassy has drastically reduced the visa appointment time for Pakistan.
US Embassy sources say that the visa appointment times has been reduced from 440 days to 230 days. Shorter time for tourist, educational and business visa appointments. Preference is given to first-time visa applicants from Pakistan.
Sources further say that more consular officers have been appointed to reduce the visa appointment wait time. Cannot provide details of visa rejections.

The automaker is developing a global platform for all its small and mid-size cars. Will this new platform update help Honda get back into the market?
To deal with low sales, Honda is currently focusing on developing its new modular platform. Honda’s all-new modular platform (source code-PF2) will underpin a range of upcoming models, including sedans, SUVs and hybrids.
Reports suggest that the PF2 is expected to be a modular platform that can accommodate both ICE and EV powertrains.
Honda is also reconsidering investing in a hybrid powertrain given the market trends and demand for hybrids in the market. Honda pioneered hybrid tech in the country with the City E:HEV, but the company’s decision to import the hybrid kit was expensive to keep.
But now, the new PF2 platform will be packaged with local assembly for the hybrid system to produce the hybrid.
Currently, Honda is planning to launch the new generation Amaze, however, the model will not receive the updated platform. The new platform is currently under early development and is expected to debut in 2027 alongside a new Honda 7 seater SUV.
The all-new 3-row SUV will be positioned above the Elevate in the market and will use the same 1.5-litre petrol engine with a hybrid option.
The second car in the list to come with this updated platform is the next generation Honda City. The sixth-generation model is likely to come with a naturally aspirated petrol and hybrid option from launch. The new generation City with a new design and updated platform is expected to be launched in 2028.
Additionally, sources say the automaker is planning to build a sub-4 meter compact SUV and their second EV (not the Honda Elevate EV) on PF2 platforms. However, Honda has not yet officially revealed any powertrains or specifications of these models. The models are expected to hit showrooms in 2029.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that visas will be issued online within 24 hours to businessmen, investors and tourists of 126 countries without any fee. Relaxation of visa policy will make Pakistan an attractive destination for foreigners for business and tourism. Relaxation in visa policy will stabilize the economy, foreign exchange reserves will increase.
According to the statement issued by the media wing of the Prime Minister’s Office, the federal government has taken important steps to promote foreign investment, business activities and tourism in the country.
The Federal Ministry of Home Affairs and other concerned ministries have taken a big step to relax the visa regime, which is a very positive development. Visa-free entry to Pakistan has been approved for businessmen from the Gulf Council countries, which will further increase investment and business opportunities in Pakistan from the Gulf countries.
He said that businessmen, investors and tourists from 126 countries will be issued visas under the online system within 24 hours. Businessmen and tourists from these 126 countries are exempted from visa fees.
The decision to relax the visa policy will make Pakistan an attractive destination for foreigners for business and tourism. A separate sub-category for visa-on-arrival facility for Sikh pilgrims holding passports of third countries has also been approved for the promotion of religious tourism.
The Prime Minister says that the e-system of electronic gates is being implemented at the airports of Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. Pakistan has holy places of many religions and other northern regions of the country including Gilgit-Baltistan are paradise for tourists.
A dashboard will also be set up in the Federal Ministry of Interior to review the implementation of the new visa system. which will monitor the visa free entry, business visa list and tourist visa on arrival in respect of the latter countries and provide review report. The performance of the Ministry of Interior and other relevant ministries and institutions on the new visa system is commendable.

Major decision to extend summer vacation in educational institutions. Sindh Education Minister has extended summer vacations in educational institutions across the province till August 14, 2024, notification issued.
On the direction of Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah, the Education Department has issued a notification to extend school holidays till August 14.
He said that in view of the possibility of heat and rain, it has been decided to extend the summer vacation. Co-curricular activities will continue in schools from August 14. All private and government schools will organize programs regarding Independence Day.
Sindh Education Minister Sardar Ali Shah said that after the holidays, the new academic year in Sindh will start from August 15.
It should be noted that after the June-July holidays in Sindh, schools were supposed to open from August 1, but due to bad weather, schools will open from August 15, 2024.
