Govt School Timings In Punjab 2022 after Summer Holidays
Lahore: Punjab School Education Department (SED) has issued new govt school timings in punjab 2022 notification allover the province including Mandi Bahauddin, Lahore, Rawalpindi from 1st August 2022.
Summer Vacation Extended In Punjab 2022
As summer vacations are going to end on 31th July 2022 and the schools will reopen on 1st August, 2022 in Punjab. Are summer vacation extended in Punjab 2022? The simple answer is NO. There is some news about extension of summer vacations for two weeks due to rains and flood. Government has cleared that schools will reopen on 1st August 2022 according to the schedule issued earlier. There is no extension of summer vacations in Punjab by the department.
Govt School Timings In Punjab 2022 after Summer Holidays
According to the notification issued by SED (School Education Department) Punjab, the govt. schools timings in Punjab 2022 has been issued after summer holidays. The Govt schools of boys will open at 7:30AM and will be closed at 1:00PM. While timing of girls schools will be from 7:15AM to 1:00PM from Monday to Thursday and Saturday.
On Friday, there will he half day and the boys and girls schools will be open at 7:30 and will be close at 11:30.

Furthermore, the school timings for double shift school will be different from single shift school. In double shift school, the schools of morning shift will be open at 7:00AM and will close at 12:00PM from Monday to Thursday and Saturday. On Friday, morning shift will start at 7:00AM and will close at 11:00AM.
While schools in evening shift will be open at 2:30PM and will close at 4:30PM from Monday to Thursday and Saturday. While on Friday, the second shift school timing will be from 2:30PM to 5:30PM.
These timing will be observed from 6th May 2022 to 15th October, 2022. The timings for Govt. schools in Punjab will be changed from October 15 for winter season by the department.
