Order To Close Bazaars And Marriage Halls At 10 pm

The district administration, re-implementing the electricity and energy saving policy, has issued orders to close the markets and marriage halls across the city at 10 pm.

Deputy Commissioner Lahore Rafia Haider said that the strict implementation of the environmental pollution reduction and energy saving policy is starting again, under which the markets and marriage halls across the city will be closed at 10 pm, which will be effective from today March 28, 2023.

He said that all restaurants and cafes in Lahore will be allowed to open till 11 pm while home delivery will be allowed till 12:30 AM.

Deputy Commissioner Lahore has ordered to strictly implement the working hours of markets, hotels, restaurants and has directed the Additional Deputy Commissioner to appoint a focal person and submit a report on a daily basis.

The DC Lahore directed that stunt commissioners should ensure implementation of fixed working hours in their areas.
