Pakistani passport holders can travel visa-free to 12 countries
The Pakistani passport, considered one of the weakest in the world, will still provide visa-free travel to a few countries in 2025.
According to the Passport Index released by Henley & Partners for January to June 2025, Pakistani passport holders can travel visa-free to 12 countries.
According to the report, visa-free access is divided into three categories.
- True visa-free travel: A situation where no arrangements are required.
- Visa on arrival: Where a visa is issued upon arrival in the relevant country.
- Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA): Where prior authorization is obtained online.
Visa-free access to 12 countries
According to the report, there are 12 countries where Pakistani citizens can travel without a visa. However, a Pakistani passport is required for travel. These countries are as follows:
- Barbados: Caribbean island country that allows Pakistani citizens to stay without a visa.
- Cook Islands: This beautiful destination in the South Pacific is visa-free for Pakistanis.
- Dominica: Visa-free travel is also possible in this small Caribbean country.
- Haiti: Another Caribbean country that welcomes Pakistanis without a visa.
- Madagascar: The fourth largest island in Africa that offers visa-free travel.
- Micronesia: A country consisting of islands in the Pacific Ocean where visa-free travel is possible.
- Montserrat: A British-administered Caribbean island where visa-free travel is possible.
- New Zealand: This island in the South Pacific is open to Pakistanis.
- Rwanda: This African country also provides visa-free access to Pakistani citizens.
- Saint Vincent and the Grenadines: This small Caribbean country also allows visa-free travel.
- Trinidad and Tobago: Another Caribbean island country where Pakistanis can visit without a visa.
- Vanuatu: This country, consisting of islands near Australia, is also included in the list of visa-free countries.
Normal passport will be issued in 20 days and urgent in 10 days
