A significant drop in the open rate of the dollar had a positive impact on local gold prices on Thursday. Local gold prices fell even as the international bullion market rose by $7 per ounce to reach the 1967 level. Gold price per tola is fell by Rs 5,400 and Rs 4,629 per ten grams .

In the gold markets of Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Multan, Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta, the prices of gold decreased to Rs. 2,29,000/ per tola and the prices of ten grams of gold decreased to Rs. 1,96,331/.

Similarly, the price of silver per tola decreased by 50 rupees to 2,750 rupees and the price of ten grams of silver also decreased by 42 rupees 86 paise to 2,357.68 rupees.
