Kuwait is considering a Family Visa Plan in 2024 – See Criteria
Kuwait Family Visa
Kuwait is set to introduce a family visa option as early as 2024, according to the Ministry of Interior. Article 22 visa applicants, family or dependents, will be limited to certain immigrant categories such as doctors, university professors, professors of applied education, and counselors.
This is in line with the demographic strategy led by Sheikh Talal Al Khalid, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility criteria have not been disclosed, as the ministry plans to form a committee to allow foreign groups to bring their families.

Additionally, details on the United Gulf Visa Mechanism for Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries have emerged. Overstayers will be fined KD100 per day. Conditions include compulsory health insurance and hotel booking throughout the stay.
