San Francisco: After testing the messages editing option, WhatsApp has rolled out the “Edit WhatsApp Message feature” to the public.
According to global media reports, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced on Facebook that users will be able to edit WhatsApp messages for 15 minutes after sending.
WhatsApp Has Introduced Chat Lock Feature To Hide The Conversation
The company said the feature is being rolled out globally while a similar feature is already available on Apple’s iMessage.

Earlier WhatsApp news app “WA Beta Info” said that the new beta version is adding an edit option that will provide editing and correction of errors in messages.
How To Edit WhatsApp Message After Sent
To edit a message, you need to hold your finger on the message for a while and after selecting it touch the vertical lines above and the edit button will appear. By selecting this you can fix the message and remove typos. This can be done within 15 minutes of sending the message.
