Expected Petrol Price In May 2024 Pakistan

After the drop in oil prices at the international level, a big drop in petrol and diesel prices is expected in Pakistan. The government is expected to cut petrol price by Rs 13 per liter and diesel price by Rs 8 to Rs 9.50 per liter on May 16, according to The News.

If approved, it will be another relief in fuel prices for the public in Pakistan. Last month, the government cut petrol and high-speed diesel prices by Rs 5.45 and Rs 8.42 respectively for the next fortnight. Current price of petrol is Rs 288.49 per liter and HSD price is Rs 281.96.

The English daily attributed the huge drop to falling global prices following Iran-Israel missile attacks and stability in the Middle East following the easing of tensions in the Red Sea.
