Govt Increased The Price Of Electricity By Rs 7.50
The government dropped electricity on the people, increasing the prices smartly. The government has increased the price of electricity by 7 rupees 50 paise from July 1.
The federal government struck people with electricity in the dark of night. The price of electricity has been increased by 7 rupees 50 paise per unit. The basic tariff has been increased from 3 to 7 rupees 50 paise per unit.
The Cabinet approved the summary through circulation. NEPRA has already approved the hike in electricity rates for the current financial year.

The government has submitted a request to NEPRA to increase the base price. NEPRA will now take a decision after hearing the request of the federal government. After NEPRA’s decision, the federal government will issue a notification to increase electricity prices.
According to the report, the increase in electricity prices is proposed to be implemented from July 1, 2023. It should be noted that the National Electric and Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) issued a notification two days ago and approved an increase in the price of electricity by Rs 1.90 paise for the month of May.
