Increase in the price of gold in global and local exchange markets

Gold prices rose again in global and local exchange markets. The price of gold rose by $13 to $2,352 per ounce in the international bullion market.

On the other hand, the price of 24 karat gold per tola increased by Rs 2,400 to Rs 242,700 and the rate of gold per 10 grams increased by Rs 2,058 to Rs 208,076.

Meanwhile, silver price rose by Rs 100 to Rs 2,900 per tola and silver price rose by Rs 85.74 to Rs 2,486.28 per 10 grams.

Petrol and diesel prices are expected to decrease from June 1

Bullion market representatives say that in view of the impact on purchasing power in local bullion markets and a significant reduction in gold trading activities, the local rate of gold has decreased by Rs 3,000 instead of increasing the global rate.
