Mandi Bahauddin (MBDin News 17 August 2023) In Chak Raib area of Mandi Bahauddin, a mother fed up with poverty and poisoned her 3 children and poisoned herself.
Mother Mehwish Bibi wife of Tauqeer Ahmed fed their 3 children including 10-year-old Mohammad Owais, 7-year-old Sufyan Ahmed and 5-year-old Subhan Ahmed with wheat tablets. 2 children died on the spot.
Mother Mehwish and son Muhammad Owais were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Malakwal where their condition is out of danger. Police station Malakwal registered a case against the accused and arrested her.
