State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced Eid ul Adha holidays from June 29th to 3rd July 2023.

According to the announcement issued by the State Bank of Pakistan, all public and private and microfinance banks across the country will be closed on the occasion of Eid ul Adha on June 29 and 30.

According to the announcement, all banks across the country will remain closed for public transactions from Thursday to Sunday and will reopen from Monday.

Banks will also remain closed for public transactions on Monday, the beginning of the new financial year, while all public and private banks and microfinance institutions will open as usual from Tuesday, July 4.

  • Wear new or nicer clothes
  • Apply perfume
  • Use hair oil
  • Avoid eating before the Eid prayer
  • Try to arrive early for Eid prayers
  • Listen to the sermon (Khutbah)
  • While going for the Eid prayer, recite the Takbeer of Tashreeq in a loud voice
