Announcement Of 45% Increase In Salaries Of Govt Employees

Ankara: A few days before the general elections in Turkey, the president increased the salaries of civil servants by 45 percent.

In the statement released by the Turkish President, it has been said that the welfare portion of government employees will also be increased. The minimum salary of a civil servant shall be 15 thousand Turkish lira per month. Salaries and pensions of government employees will continue to increase.

Government Has Increased The Daily Wages Rates 2023

According to Turkish media, Turkish President Recep Tayyab Erdogan’s 45% increase in the salaries of civil servants will be implemented from June. This increase will be effective for 6 months. The number of employees in government departments in Turkey is about 5 million. General elections in Turkey will be held on May 14.
