Turkey offers 3-year work permit exemptions for skilled workers

The new rules, published in Turkey’s official gazette, include temporary work permit exemptions for up to three years, providing more flexibility for professionals contributing to Turkey’s economy, including thousands of foreign skilled workers.

The move is part of Turkey’s ongoing efforts to attract global talent and boost its economy by easing restrictions for foreign workers in various sectors.

Turkey Work Permit Exemptions

Turkey offers a temporary work permit waiver for foreign workers. This means that some people can work in Turkey without the need for a traditional work permit.

New Dubai Visit and Work Visa Rules 2024 for Pakistan

This exemption can last up to three years, providing more flexibility than a regular work permit. If you fall into one of these categories, you may be eligible to work in Turkey without the hassle of applying for a standard work permit.

  1. Skilled professionals
  2. Refugees
  3. Journalists
  4. Athletes

Skilled Foreign Workers: Professionals contributing to Turkey’s economy, culture or technology are eligible for a three-year exemption. This is an extension from the previous six-month limit, offering long-term stability for workers.

The Turkish Ministry of Interior will oversee the foreign application, assessment and monitoring system, which will determine the duration of the exemption for eligible workers.

Refugees and persons under temporary protection: These groups can now operate without a permit for a specified period of time, making it easier for them to contribute to Turkey’s economy.

Foreign journalists with a permanent press card, approved by Turkey’s Presidential Directorate of Communications, will no longer need to apply for a work permit. This exemption will last for the entire duration of their stay in the country.

Professional Athletes, coaches, and other sports-related personnel with valid contracts from Turkish clubs will also be exempt from the work permit requirement. The change aims to streamline the process for those involved in the sports industry.

How to apply?

The application process for work permit exemptions in Turkey has been significantly simplified. Under the new regulations, they can now submit their applications at any time during their legal stay. Previously, foreign nationals only had 30 days after arrival to apply.

Top 10 Best-selling Cars In UK Of 2023

Top 10 Best-selling Cars In UK Of 2023

The Vauxhall Corsa takes the lead ahead of the Nissan Qashqai and the smaller Nissan Juke for April 2023.

New car registration data from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) reveals all, so we’re studying the latest figures to find out which are the UK’s best-selling new cars. .

The latest figures show which cars have sold the most since the start of the year 2023, with some holding on to market strongholds against the odds while others hit the best-seller list for the first time. Struggling to join.

The Nissan Qashqai ended 2022 as Britain’s best-selling car after a year when the automotive industry was troubled by parts shortages and semiconductor production problems. One of four SUVs in the final top ten, the Qashqai, built at Nissan’s Sunderland factory in the UK, took the top spot after a strong year-round, well ahead of the Vauxhall Corsa.

In this article, we will share Top 10 Best-selling Cars In UK Of 2023. Read on to see which cars are in the top ten for 2023 so far, according to SMMT, and how many units they’ve sold.

Top 10 Best-selling Cars In UK Of 2023

1. Vauxhall Corsa: 14,034 units sold so far this year

Best-selling Cars In UK is Vauxhall Corsa. The Vauxhall Corsa finished second behind the Qashqai in 2022, despite topping the leaderboard for ten of the twelve months. It regained the top spot this month after beating the second-placed car by 423 units. Its success is partly due to its mix of PSA-developed petrol and underpinnings, diesel and electric powertrains.

Top 10 Best-selling Cars In UK Of 2023

2. Nissan Qashqai: 13,611 units

The Qashqai, the best-selling model in the UK for 2022, ended April in a strong second position. The British-made crossover is now in its third generation and pipped the Vauxhall Corsa to the top spot last year, and continues to appeal to buyers on our shores thanks to its excellent practicality. The addition of electrified powertrains for this generation has undoubtedly boosted its appeal.

3. Ford Puma: 13,128 units

The Ford Puma is now the company’s number one car, and is also vying for the top spot in this year’s top ten rankings. The small crossover will be the firm’s new entry-level offering when the Fiesta leaves production later this year. Don’t worry, though – it boasts impressive driving dynamics and attractive pricing, and the range is topped by a fun-filled ST version. It might not be the festival we all know and love, but it’s a good, worthy alternative nonetheless.

4. Kia Sportage: 12,632 units

Consistency is key for the Kia Sportage, which entered its fifth generation late last year. The model looks set to be a huge hit for the firm once again in 2023, thanks to its eye-catching design, on-trend powertrains and strong value for money. It was consistently in the top ten last year.

5. Nissan Juke: 12,590 units

The Nissan Juke helped Nissan complete a perfect 1-2 for year-to-date sales in March, but slipped to fifth place in April. The automaker’s small crossover went on sale in 2020 with an all-new design, including a facelift mid-last year with hybrid power for the first time. This hybrid powertrain has been developed as part of the firm’s partnership with Renault, and is shared with the Renault Captur e-Tech Hybrid.

Driving Rules For Bus Drivers, Working And Rest Hours In Saudi Arabia

6. Hyundai Tucson: 12,378 units

The Hyundai Tucson is one of the UK’s most popular SUVs, regularly appearing in the top 10 last year. Probably the most premium option in the top 10, it was refreshed for 2021 with a new front end and a unique, eye-catching lighting setup. Its luxurious interior and range of electric powertrains make it an attractive proposition for many buyers.

7. Tesla Model Y: 11,503 units

Tesla’s influence on the UK car market continues, and the Model Y is its driving force. It fell to No. 7 in April, but thanks to the way Tesla builds its cars, it sold 11,503 cars last month alone – making it the best-selling model of the month. The crossover first went on sale in long-distance specification on our shores last February, and a rear-wheel drive model is now available as the entry point to the range. There is no doubt that this will greatly add to the growing number of Model Ys on our roads.

8. Mini: 10,632 units

Despite its age, the mini hatchback remains as popular as ever. Last year it outsold superminis like the Volkswagen Polo and Toyota Yaris. With a versatile line-up of petrol, electric, convertible and John Cooper Works Performance variants, Mini can always be relied upon for drivability and appealing looks. A new Mini is coming later this year and we are very excited about it.

9. Volkswagen T-Roc: 10,505 units

The Volkswagen T-Roc has been around for almost six years but it remains a seriously popular choice for UK buyers. It seems that compared to the venerable Volkswagen Golf. A recent facelift boosted interior quality, addressing one of the few criticisms of the well-rounded crossover.

10. Ford Fiesta: 10,473 units

It’s sad to see the continued popularity of the Fiesta with the knowledge that it will leave the Ford range later this year, bringing to an end 47 years of production. It will be replaced by an electric crossover that will go head-to-head with the best-selling Puma and Kuga. Its popularity is due to its versatility and all-round excellent driving dynamics, the performance of which the ST variant is still one of the best hot hatches on the market. We are sorry to see him go.

Bad News: Will Petrol Be Cheaper In Pakistan From June 1?

This announcement is of special importance in view of the arrival of Russian oil, the upcoming general elections in Pakistan and the latest situation in the country. Despite the availability of cheap Russian oil, the government has decided not to adopt a populist approach by further reducing petroleum prices.

Furthermore, the arrival of Russian oil in Pakistan is expected to have a significant impact on local prices. Russian oil is quite cheap compared to international market prices. As Pakistan is heavily dependent on petroleum imports to meet its domestic needs. Imports of Russian oil are expected to reduce the country’s oil import bill and lower prices in the domestic market.
