The system is heavily loaded with the role of middlemen brokers and unscrupulous traders and neither the consumers at the end or the farmers who produce the products benefited. As the farmer is in the unfortunate situation of producing mostly perishables, he has to find an immediate market which he is unable to find without the help of brokers and this weakness is being exploited to his disadvantage.
