Imdad Ullah Bosal

Imdad Ullah Bosal or Imdadullah Bosal (امداد اللّٰہ بوسال) was born on 14 June 1972. He is a Pakistani civil servant serving as Secretary Finance Division in BPS-22 grade. He was the Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government from February 2023 to March 2023. He belongs to Pakistan Administrative Service.

Imdadullah was born to Chaudhary Muhammad Iqbal Bosal . He belongs to Tibba Chaudhry Manak Bosal , Mandi Bahauddin. He is the brother of Chaudhry Nasir Iqbal Bosal , who was a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from Mandi Bahauddin. His maternal grandfather Chaudhry Jahan Khan Bosal was elected as Member of Punjab Assembly from Gujrat in 1946 elections. His grandfather Chaudhry Manak Khan Bosal, after whom Imdad’s native village is named, was a member of the sixth legislature of the West Pakistan Provincial Assembly (1956–1969).

He studied at Cadet College Hasan Abdal. He holds a Masters in Political Economy of Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. He also holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Oxford University.

Imdad Ullah Bosal qualified the Central Superior Services Examination in 1994 and secured a place in the District Management Group (now Pakistan Administrative Service) and belonged to the 23rd Common Training Programme. He joined the Pakistan Administrative Service on 19 November 1995. His date of retirement or superannuation from civil service is 13 June 2032.

During his career in civil service, he has served as Federal Secretary of Industries and Production Division[13],[9] Special Secretary, Additional Secretary (Expenditure), Additional Secretary (Banking, Investment & Inter-Governmental Finance) in Finance Division in years 2020 to 2022,[9][14] Additional Secretary in Economic Affairs Division[8], Principal Secretary to Chief Minister of Punjab[3][9], and Secretary (Implementation) to Chief Minister of Punjab.

Yamaha has increased the price of the YBR 125G. It recently launched the more expensive “new model” of the Yamaha YBR 125 at Rs 17,000, which lives up to customer expectations that it is just a new color variant.

Schools Will Remain Closed In Punjab On Saturday

School Closed News Today

Interim Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi announced on Friday that schools will remain closed in Punjab on Saturday, 02-12-2023. However, notification has not been issued yet in this regard.

Schools of 10 district of Punjab will remained closed. Districts including Lahore, Nankana Sahib, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Gujrat, Sialkot, Mandi Bahauddin and Narowal.

Mohsin Naqvi while presiding over the Cabinet Committee on Anti-Smog meeting said that schools will remain closed on Saturday. However, markets and businesses will remain open as usual on weekends. He also said that on Saturday and Sunday, restaurants and other businesses will also remain open as usual.

This decision has been taken in the context of significant improvement in the smog situation, due to the recent rains in Lahore, which has led to a significant increase in the air quality index. Lahore has moved to seventh place in the list of most polluted cities.
