Similarly, the value of the pound fell by Rs. 13 to Rs.355 and the Euro fell by Rs. 8 to Rs.305. It should be noted that after the staff level agreement between the IMF and Pakistan, the value of the dollar in the inter-bank and open market has fallen drastically for 2 days.
On Tuesday, on the first business day after Eid, the interbank rate of the dollar fell by another 10 rupees 55 paise. The interbank dollar fell to 275.44 at the end of the trading day. While the value of the dollar continues to decline in the open market.
In two days, the price of the US currency fell by a total of 11 rupees, after which the price of the dollar reached 279 rupees in the open market at the end of the market on Tuesday.

State Bank of Pakistan has released a New 75 Rupees Note In Pakistan commemorative of its 75th anniversary.
According to news, Governor State Bank Jameel Ahmed said that today is a historic day and accordingly he is issuing a new commemorative note of Rs 75 which will be issued only once.
The new Rs 75 note issued by the State Bank features Quaid-e-Azam on the front and Fatima Jinnah on the back, while windmills and solar panels are depicted on the note to highlight the importance of alternative energy.
It should be noted that the State Bank building made with calligraphy on the note is also present on the note.
This special initiative of State Bank not only commemorates the bank’s 75th anniversary but also pays tribute to the leaders and values that have shaped the history of Pakistan.
Haroon Yousaf ہارون یوسف is born in district Mandi Bahauddin on 10th November 1973. He is a former Pakistani footballer who played as a defender and midfielder.
Haroon Yousaf started his career in 1990 with Pakistan Railways FC. The following season he was transferred to WAPDA FC and stayed there for five years. In 1995 he moved to Allied Bank FC where he became captain in 1997. He was offered a contract to play for Indian football team Mahindra United but was apparently turned down by the Pakistan Football Federation. He retired in 2003.
He has been a 4-time National Football Championship winner and 4-time runner-up. He also won the PFF Cup 4 times and was runner-up once. On 19 March 2021, it was announced that Haroon Yusuf has been named as a member of the selection committee of the national football team.
After Qazi Ashfaq, he was the vice-captain of the Pakistan national team from 1996 to 1999 and became the main captain after the 1999 SAFF Championship in Goa. He was named man of the match in the 1996 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers in Jordan when Pakistan lost 0–3 against Iraq but was praised for his defensive performance.

Pakistan Revises Petroleum Prices
Government of Pakistan revises petroleum prices every 15 days, the latest revision is on 15 June 2023 with the prices mentioned above. The new rates came into effect from the following day and will remain in place till June 30, 2023.
This announcement is of special importance in view of the arrival of Russian oil, the upcoming general elections in Pakistan and the latest situation in the country. Despite the availability of cheap Russian oil, the government has decided not to adopt a populist approach by further reducing petroleum prices.
Furthermore, the arrival of Russian oil in Pakistan is expected to have a significant impact on local prices. Russian oil is quite cheap compared to international market prices. As Pakistan is heavily dependent on petroleum imports to meet its domestic needs. Imports of Russian oil are expected to reduce the country’s oil import bill and lower prices in the domestic market.
The Eid holidays will begin on June 28 and end on July 1. As July 2 falls on a Sunday, government employees will enjoy a total of five holidays on Eid-ul-Adha. Earlier, the government has announced a three-day Eid holiday from June 29 (Thursday) to July 1 (Saturday).
The announcement was made by the Sighting of the Crescent Committee on July 19 before the sighting of the moon. Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad said that the first day of Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated on June 29 across Pakistan.
