The Punjab government has decided the summer vacation in all government and private schools of the province. Punjab summer vacation 2024 will start from 7th June 2024 (Friday) to 19th August 2024 (Monday) this year.

Last year the summer vacation started on June 6 and continued till August 20, 2023. All schools resumed their academic activities from August 21.
Summer Vacations 2024
Summer vacations in Punjab is likely to start from 7 June 2024 and schools will reopen on 19 August 2024. However, the final decision regarding summer vacation 2024 will be taken by the education department after reviewing all aspects.
Now schools have started giving summer vacation homework to students. School Education Department (SED) Punjab has directed schools to assign summer holidays work till June 6, 2024. Private schools of Punjab province will also follow public schedule for holidays. The summer vacation notification appears to be appearing this week.
Summer Vacations 2024 In Punjab Notification
All provincial governments will issue summer vacation notification for 2024. The Sindh government and the Punjab government have also decided to have summer vacations in June this year. Students enjoy summer vacations and sightseeing in the northern regions of Pakistan like Murree, valleys and other cold regions of the country.
On the other hand, some colleges and academies will start summer camps for the betterment of students. Students who are weak in their studies can go to these academies and colleges.

Students must receive holiday homework before June 6th. Almost all primary schools in Punjab have conducted their annual examinations in May. Government and private schools in Punjab have promoted students to the next classes. But students will join their next classes in August 2024.
Parents should contact their children’s schools to inquire about performance. They should hire tutors for their children’s studies. The duration of summer vacations across Punjab is two months.
