History:

Faqirian فقیریاں village is in Tehsil Malakwal. It is 54 KM from Mandi-Bahuddin city towards South at the boundary of M.B.DIN with Sargodha and 40 KM from Malakwal towards South. It is a big Town in its nears.

Population:

The Population of this village is nearly 35,000 and it is 70 years old village.

The Literacy rate of the village is average.

It has a Govt. P/S for Boys Since 1977, Middle School for Girls and Community Primary School for Girls. There is also working a private School for the betterment of the Society in my Village. Chak No. 26 is 38 km away from Mandi Bahauddin and 78 km away from Sargodha. It is in south-west of city Mandi Bahauddin. In fact it is a hub among many villages.

Brief History:

The old name of this village was Gavend Pura after the establishment of Pakistan (1947) the name was changed as Chak No. 26 Islamabad.

 People of the village are very hospitable, friendly, hard working and moderate.

Introduction:

Village Boosal Masoor بوسال مسور not exactly known as when the first settlements of Busal came into existence but the elders of the village tell that name of the founder was BUSAL who lived here during the reign of Mughal Emperor Jalal-ud-Din Muhammad Akbar and had relations with the Emperor. The Emperor had bestowed him a large estate called Sooba Busal. Mr. Busal had three sons named Sukkha, Masoor & Noor and three main settlements are named behind them.

Welcome to Busal, the Gemstone of Distt. M.B. Din. Police Chowki Busal- established in 1935. Patwar Khana is one of the oldest buildings and among very few pre-partition buildings. Irrigation department rest house also known as bungalow was built outside busal in 1915 and a police chowki was established in Busal in 1935. Canal and irrigation channels system was built between 1910 and 1944.

Information:

Kirtowal کرتووال is a small village in tehsil Malakwal, District Mandi Bahauddin. It is located around 225 Kilometer south east of Capital city Islamabad and around 25 Kilometer away from its district headquarter Mandi Bahauddin. The village is located at the bank of Lower Jhelum canal.

Kirtowal Weather:

The village Kirtowal weather is moderate , which is hot in summer and cold in winter. During peak summer the day temperature rises to 40DC, but the winter months are comparatively pleasant, temperature goes down to 2 degree centigrade; only in the months of December and January.

Population:

Its population is around 2,000. It covers an area of approximately 3 square kilometers

In 1895 people migrated to this Chak No 17 چک نمبر Mandi Bahauddin from Gujrat due to flood reasons. Those people were from village Goleki (Gujrat). Its union Council is Gohar.
