کا ایک پہیا لگا ہوتا ہے اس پہے کے ساتھ ایک ہتھی سی لگی ہوتی ہے ہتھی کو گھمانے سے پہیا گھومتا ہے اس پہیے سے اگے ایک فرکی لگی ہوتی ہے جس کو یہ پہیا گھماتا ہے اس فرکی پر کپاس کی پھٹی کی روئی کو لگا کر اسے دھاکے میں تبدیل کیا جاتا ہے
اب نئے دور میں یہ کام بجلی پر لگی مشینیں کرتی ہیں جس کی وجہ سے چرخے کے استمعال کافی حد تک کم ہو چکا ہے اگر اب بھی ہم دیکھیں تو کافی گھروں میں جرخہ نظر آتا ہے چرخہ پنجاب اور منڈی بہاوالدین کی ثقافت کا حصہ ہے
ایک وقت تھا چرخہ ہر گھر کی ضرورت ہوا کرتی تھی پنجاب میں خواتین ہر گھر میں چرخہ کاتتی نظر آتی تھی
پوڑھی عورتیں چرخہ کاتتی زیادہ نظر آیا کرتی تھی چونکہ چرخہ بیٹھ کر کاتا جاتا تھا اس کے لیے زیادہ قوت بھی درکار نہیں ہوتی تھی بوڑھی عورتوں کو اس کا کافی ہنر تھا جس کی وجہ سے بوڑھی عورتیں جو باقی گھر کے کام کم کرتی تھی وہ چرکہ زیادہ کاتتی تھی
حقہ پنجاب میں ایک بہت عام چیز ہے جو زیادہ تر گھروں میں نظر آتا ہے منڈی بہاوالدین میں حقے کا بہت زیادہ استعمال ہوتا آرہا ہے اس کے علاوہ منڈی بہاوالدین میں تمباکو کی کاشت بھی کافی ہوتی ہے
اب نوجوان نسل زیادہ تر سیگریٹ کی طرف آ گئی ہے مگر بزرگ اب بھی زیادہ حقے کا استعمال کرتے ہیں
حقہ (ہندی: हुक़्क़ा، عربی: شيشة) ایک نالی یا ایک زائدنالیوں پر مشتمل تمباکو نوشی کے لئے استعمال کیا جانے والا ایک قدیم آلہ ہے۔ جس کا آبائی وطن انڈیا کو قرار دیا جاتا ہے۔ وقت گزرنے کے ساتھ ساتھ اس کی مقبولیت میں اضافہ ہوتا جارہا ہے، خصوصاً عرب دنیا میں۔ اردو میں موجودہ مستعمل لفظ فی الحقیقت عربی ہی سے آیا ہے اور وہاں اسکو حـق سے ماخوذ کیا جاتا ہے، یعنی یوں کہہ سکتے ہیں کہ حقہ کی اصل الکلمہ (etymology) حق ہے۔ اردو میں حق عام طور پر سچائی پر ہونے کے معنوں میں زیادہ استعمال ہوتا ہے۔ حق کے ان دونوں مفاہیم میں افتراق کی وجہ اعراب کے استعمال سے انکا تلفظ الگ کرنے کی ہے؛ سچائی کے لیۓ جو عربی کا حق استعمال ہوتا ہے اس میں ح پر زبر لایا جاتا ہے جبکہ حقہ کے لیۓ جو حق آتا ہے اس میں ح پر پیش کو لایا جاتا ہے جس کے معنی ظرف ، چلم ، حوض اور جوف وغیرہ کے آجاتے ہیں اور اسی ظرف کے تصور سے جو کہ حقے کی چلم سے مترادف ہے حقے کا لفظ اخذ کیا گیا ہے۔ ایک حقہ پانی کی پالائش اور بلاواسطہ حرارت کی مدد سے کام کرتا ہے۔ اس کو مختلف جڑی بوٹیوں اور غذائی ذائقوں میں بھی استعمال کیا جاسکتاہے۔ علاقے اور دستیابی کے بناء پر بہت سے عرب، بھارتی، ایرانی اور ترک علاقوں میں حقے کے کئی نام ہیں۔ اسی طرح اس کا ایک نام نرگیلا (Nargila ) جو کہ لبنان، شام، عراق، اردن، اسرائیل، البانیا، بوسنیا، مصر، ترکی، آرمینیا، بلغاریہ اور رومانیہ میں رائج ہے حالانکہ عموماً لفظ کی ابتداء میں N یا ن کا استعمال عربی میں ساکن پڑھا جاتا ہے۔ نرگیلا فارسی لفظ (nārgil ) نارگیل سے نکلا ہے، جس کے معنی ناریل کے ہیں جبکہ سنسکرت میں اس کو نرکیلا (नारिकेला) کہا جاتا ہے اور اس کی وجہ یہ بتائی جاتی ہے کہ ابتدائی دنوں میں حقہ ناریل کے چھلکوں سے بنایا جاتا تھا۔ اسی طرح عربی میں حقہ کے لئے لفظ شيشة استعمال کیا جاتا ہے جوکہ فارسی کے لفظ شہشہ سے لیا گیا ہے، جس کے معنی کانچ کے ہیں اور حقے کے لئے یہ لفظ مصر اور خلیج فارس کے ممالک (بشمول کویت، بحرین، قطر، متحدہ عرب امارات اور سعودی عرب) اور مراکش، تیونس، صومالیہ اور یمن میں بکثرت سے استعمال کیا جاتا ہے۔ ایران میں حقے کو غلیون، قلیون اور قلیان بھی کہا جاتا ہے۔ پاکستان اور بھارت میں اس کو حقہ کہا جاتاہے۔ حقے کے لئے انگریزی میں “ہبل ببل“ “hubble-bubble” اور “ہبلی ببلی“ “hubbly-bubbly” کی اصطلاح بھی استعمال کی جاتی ہے، جس کی وجہ اس کو پیتے وقت گڑ گڑ کی آواز ہے جو کہ بلبلوں کے پیدا ہونے سے بننے والی آواز سے مشابہت رکھتی ہے۔
Village Boosal Masoor بوسال مسور not exactly known as when the first settlements of Busal came into existence but the elders of the village tell that name of the founder was BUSAL who lived here during the reign of Mughal Emperor Jalal-ud-Din Muhammad Akbar and had relations with the Emperor. The Emperor had bestowed him a large estate called Sooba Busal. Mr. Busal had three sons named Sukkha, Masoor & Noor and three main settlements are named behind them.
Welcome to Busal, the Gemstone of Distt. M.B. Din. Police Chowki Busal- established in 1935. Patwar Khana is one of the oldest buildings and among very few pre-partition buildings. Irrigation department rest house also known as bungalow was built outside busal in 1915 and a police chowki was established in Busal in 1935. Canal and irrigation channels system was built between 1910 and 1944.
