Introduction:

The village Rerka Bala ریڑکا بالا is the big village of Mandi Bahauddin. The people of Rerka Bala are very famous according to religious point of view. Here old choudharahat system have approximately finish due to establishment of Tabassum Welfare Society. Tabassum Welfare Society is an NGO of students. TABASSUM WELFARE SOCIETY now a days working as under mention objectives.

Village History:

Rerka Bala is a big village consisting of more than 25,000 population. It is a historical village. Its history starts from Sikh dynasty in Punjab. Here archeological signs of Sikhs living has also been found. In 17th – 18th century it was just located on the bank of Chenab River however, with the passage of time and natural calamities the river has moved away about 20 – 25 KM.

The main business of the residents is agriculture and livestock farming as well as Government and private jobs. People have good talent for private business like private schools, small trades and dairy products.

People are nice, sober, cultured, religious and have great passion for the education of their kids. Religious education and practices are common. Mostly people are connected with Tableeghi Jamat so, they are humble, kind and tolerant for each other that is highly appreciable.

is the name of a person who was founder of this village casted Tarar. He had 2 brothers and 1 sister named Joula, Moula and Bhaikho. Bhaikho is also the founder of one village which is near Qadir Abad named Bhaikho.

Now a day’s Dhola consists of two parts (Dhola Kalan and Dhola Khurd).The population of both parts is around 3000 and also a small part of Dhola is (Dera Tarkhanan) which 1.5 miles away from the village towards Seiray.There are two government primary schools, one for boys and other for girls. And also it has two private English medium schools named Mustafai Model School and Al-Wahid Model School however, in the presence of the schools literacy rate is average.Dhola is well cultivated and green area. Mostly people are farmers and working abroad and some are government servants.Nearest villages are Dhal (east), Seiray (north), Saida Sharif (west) and Thatha Khan Mohammad (south). Introduction:

Dhola Kalan ڈھولا کلاں is a village in the Tehsil Phalia. The founder of this village was Dhola Tarar. They were 3 brothers and one sister. The names of brothers were Dhola, Joula, Maula and the name of sister was Bhekho now one village near to Dhola. It consists of two parts, one is called Dhola Kalan and other is Dhola Khurd. Its population is about 7,000.

It is situated 40 km south of Mandi-bahauddin and about 6 km south of City Phalia. The literacy rate is average. Dherekan khured is a village in Mandi Bahauddin, Punjab, Pakistan . It is located 9 kilometers from Phalia in the direction of Ranmal Sharif

Dherekan khured has some basic facilities; Schools ( Girls & Boys), telephones and good roads with transport to the nearest city Phalia.

Most of the people are farmers by profession but since a couple of years ago, a lot of people have been employed in European countries, which has raised people’s life style. My village Dhunni Kalan دھنی کلاں is located in South-West part of District Mandi bahauddin in Tehsil Phalia. Its a historical village whose roots go back to Mughal period. This village is divided in two parts, one is called Dhunni Kalan and other called Dhunni Khurd. Population (inhabitants) of the Dhunni Kalan is approximately 4000 people.

History & Founder of the village

It was name of a woman called Dhunni. They were two sisters and two brothers. In river Chenab, there was one Waan, there used to live Sikh families. Presently there are 4 villages with names of these two sisters and two brothers. The sister names were Dhunni and Chytoo and two brothers called Dhala and Mehr Kot. These all villages basically belong to Tarar Family. Other families in village Dhunni Kalan are Virk who came from nearby town Mianwal, Aghraa family and Gondal families live here too. Gondal families came from Rehrka. There are 3 main Parts (Mohullas) and braudaries in this village:

  1. Rasul Bakhish s/o Ghulam Muhammad Tarar (called Pir Muhammad ki Wand). Rasul Bakhish was Zaildaar of this village (In old times , those person who had more lands than others called Zaildar of the village). Also one other famous person of this Wand was Chairman Ghulam Rasul s/o Ghulam Qadir Tarar.
  2. Muhkum din ki Wand ( Wand means parts of the family)
  3. Muhammad Inayat ki Wand.

These all 3 were the sons of Dhunni. Pir Muhammad was very famous in all area due to his social work and hospitability. Other social personalities of this village are.

Muhammad Sadiq Numbardar s/o Rasul Bakhish. In Muhkum ki Wand, there were Ghulam Qadir s/o Chanan Tarar famous for his genericity and social work. Now a days his son Muhammad Akram Tarar ex. Chairman is fully involved in social activies of the village. In Anayat ki Wand, now a days Mukhtar Ahmed and Parvaiz Ahmed who are sons of Fazal Karim tarar are famous for social work of the village.

Its boundaries touch with Dhunni Khurd in South, with Mehr Kot in northwest, with Chaytoo in South-west, with Bhua Hasan in South and Dhala Shaheed in west.Village.people are polite and hardworking. It is considered as example for its extra ordinary economic progress in the nearby villages.

Information:

My beautiful village Chakori چکوڑی is located in Tehsil Phalia, District Mandi Bahauddin. It is situated at the bank of river Chenab. It is about 47 Km away from District Mandi Bahaud Din towards the north side. Main cities for shopping are Bhoa Hasan, Qadir Abad and Bherowal. Here are three shops and one medical store.

History:

Village Chakori came into existence 90 year ago in 1920 before the existence of Pakistan. Muslims and Hindu lived here. Then in 1947 came into existence and my village became part of this Heaven. Old graveyard is beside our village. Our village has a big mosque from older times. A darbar of Baba Peer Wahid Shah is near village. Fare is held every year on darbar.

Neighborhoods:

In the west side village Noor Pur Katvi and Khum Kalan are situated. Kokaray and Bhuta Peeran are situated in the east of our village. Thati Mararran is situated in the south and in the north river Chenab is flowing.

Introduction:

Village Bahri باہری is in Tehsil phalia district Mandi Bahauddin having area of 3,300 acres. Its round about 12 km from phalia in south and 6 km from village Qadirabad in east. It is situated at small road from Ranmal Shareef to Qadirabad.

History:

Round about 2 centuries before village Bahri was in district Gujranwala then due to flood reasons it became part of the river and people of that village were divided into two parts, some came in Mandi Bahauddin area and other were gone to Hafizabad district. At that time there was Chaudhry Alam in Hafizabad Bahri and a Sahibzada sahib was in mandian Bahri. Nowadays river is in the boundary of hafizabadi bahri.

Introduction:

Bhinder Kalan بھنڈر کلاں or Bhindar Kalan is a village situated in Tehsil Phalia, district Mandi-bahauddin in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is situated 30 km south east of the district capital -Mandi-Bahauddin and 14 km east of the famous town of Phalia. The population of Bhinder Kalan is about 2,000. The literacy rate is above 80%.

Bhinder Kalan is well cultivated area the main crops are wheat rice and sugar cane, most people are farmers and government servants. This proud village is continuous developing from the partition (1947). In the education sector this village showed a great effort. This village gave great personalities to the great nation of Pakistan. Especially in education, politics, army, engineering and agricultural.
