سوہاوہ گاؤں
منڈی بہاؤ الدین کے تمام گاؤں ہی تاریخ میں اپنا نام رکھتے ہیں اور جنگی ادوار میں یہاں کے لوگوں نے دشمن کی افواج کا ڈٹ کر مقابلہ کیا،
سوہاوہ بنیادی طور پر تین گاؤں پر مشتمل منڈی بہاوالدین کا سب بڑا گاؤں ہے،
سوہاوہ جملانی جمال کے نام سے منسوب اور جمال کی اولاد جملانے کہلاتے ہیں،
سوہاوہ بولانی بہلول کے نام سے جانا جاتا ہے،
سوہاوہ دلوآنہ دلاور کے نام سے منسوب ہے اور اسکی اولاد دلوآنے کہلاتے ہیں،
تاریخی حوالے سے اگر دیکھا جائے تو 1739 میں نادر شاہ کی افواج نے کابل افغانستان سے اکبر بادشاہ کے پوتے جلال الدین کی حکومت ختم کرنے کی خاطر راستے میں آتے تمام شہر تباہ کرتے ہوئے ست سرا کے مقام پر پہنچے تو یہاں کی عوام اور سرداروں نے ان کا ڈٹ کر مقابلہ کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا اور ان کا ساتھ بار موسی، کوٹ مومن اور چوٹ دھیراں نے دیا۔
سوہاوہ جملانی میں 90 فیصد آبادی جٹ گوندل دیگر میں گجر، کھوہارے آباد ہیں،
زیادہ تر آبادی زراعت کے شعبے سے وابستہ اور بیرون ملک آباد ہیں جو کہ ہر سال لاکھوں کا زرمبالہ پاکستان بھجواتے ہیں،
ماضی کی نسبت اب سوہاوہ میں تعلیم کی شرح کافی بہتر ہے اور پڑھے لکھے نوجوان ملک اور بیرون ملک اپنی خدمات فراہم کر رہے ہیں جن میں وکالت، جج، سیاست، تجارت، کھیل اور دیگر شعبوں سے منسلک ہیں،

Sohawa is one of the major towns of District Mandi Bahauddin. It is situated on the Phalia Road, almost 3 Kilometers out of the city of City Mandi Bahauddin. It basically consists of three villages Sohawa Bolani, Sohawa Jamlani and Sohawa Dilloana and is divided into two Union Councils, Sohawa Bolani & Sohawa Dilloana. The main caste in Sohawas is Jatt Gondal followed by other Muhajar Jatts and Gujjars. It was believed to be founded by a Gondal elder sometimes after 13th century and has now evolved into a major town of the District and has increased manifold in importance after it was decided to build the new District Complex here.

It has a Govt. high school on the famous King Road which was established by English in 1874 as a Primary School and was promoted to a High School in 1984. This school has won many District Kabbadi and Cricket Championships.  It now boasts many private schools like Lasani Model High School etc. and literacy rate is improving by leaps and bounds.

Main source of income of people is agriculture followed by foreign remittances sent by people who are working in EU, USA and Middle Eastern countries and number in thousands. Italy is believed to be country with highest number of immigrants from Sohawas.

A handful of the people are also serving in civil service with Muhammad Akram Ashraf Gondal being at top as Director Excise and Taxation in Govt. of Punjab. Some other prominent civil servants include Muhammad Amin, Shamsher Ahmad Gondal and Captain Shakeel Ahmad etc. Choudhary Sardar Khan Zaildar was one of the most famous personalities of the village after independence. He was known for his philanthropist activities throughout the area. Some other famous personalities include local politician and twice former Chairman Union Council Sohawa Bolani Sikandar Hayat Gondal, a disable person who has never lost an election in his political career. Then there is Zahoor Ahmad Gondal, a lawyer and current Chairman of Union Council Sohawa Bolani.

It is a very big village only about 800 houses are in it and about 4,000 peoples live in them. All the population of the village is Muslim among them all are SUNNY except one house that is of Shia. No non-Muslim is there in the village.

The number of registered voters in the village is 2,400 among them almost half of them are of female voters. Although village is small but at the time of election village splits into three parts. Each group tries to cast votes against each other. At the time of BD elections both males and females cast vote but at National and Provincial Assembly elections only males cast their votes.

Means Of Earning

Most of the people are engineers. Many of the peoples earn their livelihood through agriculture. Few peoples are in Government services and among them most are in WAPDA and ARMY. Peoples of the village live a simple life. They have very friendly behavior. Peoples are very much hostile, peaceful and sincere. Except few black sheep’s vulgarity is an uncommon thing. People of the village go to their lands to care their cattle’s and crops and come back in the evening so they have a very busy life. Young boys play Cricket, Volley Ball or play cards in their extra time. Peoples of the village remains careful about fight and misbehavior because if any body do a little mistake other party persons quickly report to the police at THANA CITY MANDIBHAUDDIN.

No Bazars or Markets are present in the village only Five General stores (Karyana shops) are present which provide commodities of daily use. Peoples have to go M.B.Din for major shopping and to for minor shopping.

Introduction:

Suleman سلیماں is a village in Tehsil Phalia. It is 28 KM from Mandi-bahauddin towards East and 8 KM from Phalia towards South East. It is a big Town in its nears. The Population is nearly 4000.

The Literacy rate of the village is average. It has a Govt. Elementary School for Boys Suleman, Middle School for Girls. There is also working a private Schools for the betterment of the Society in my Village.

Sainthal is historical village. It is said that there was a village, there name was Soa (100) thal about 1871 before this village that now name is Sainthal. In this old village Soathal Muslims, Hindus and Sikh brathri lived together but after come into existence of Pakistan, Hindu and Sikh brother go away from Soathal to India. The new village Sainthal is now existed about half KM away on the east side of the old village Soathal and the new name of my village is Sainthal.

Location

Village Randiali رنڈیالی or Randyali is at the bank of Chanab River. It is situated at SarangQadirabad road in tehsil Phalia district Mandi Bahauddin. Its 25 km in south-east from city Mandi Bahauddin and 9 km from Qadirabad in East and from Phalia its distance is just 12 km in eastern side. Head Qadirabad is just 4 Km in eastern side.

History

Fore fathers were lived in Burg Tibbas ,then battle of Sikhs took place. A lot of people were killed and just women alive. That Woman whose husband die is called as randi. Those women took their Childers and came this village. Later on it was named as randiali due to these widows (randies).

Village Ratto is in Tehsil Phalia distt Mbdin. Its round about 12 km from Phalia in south and 6 km from village Qadirabad in east. It is situated at small road from Ranmal shareef to Qadirabad.

History.

History of village Ratto is very interesting. A way before there was a battle between Kala shadian and Bahri .It happend in sikhs era.There were a lot of people killed in that battle. Men from Kala Shadian were killed more than Bahri. In that era, principle of the govt was that bodies were counted from both sided ,and if one side has less men killed then more people was killed for balancing the both sides. A man from Govt came here for investigations. In those days a Man of Allah , Allad dad came here and he saw that people of Kala were killed in less countings but they say that our men are killed in more numbers than Bahri .so that they want revenge from Bahri. Baba Allah daad noticed it . People of Bahri went to him and asked for help. He said them to make more graves than Kalas men .
Govt officer came here and saw those graves and he ordered to dig up the graves to see the bodies.when he dug up the graves and there were bodies in each grave made by Bahri men.So bahri men were saved by Alladad. Then People of Bahri decided to gave his some area to Alladad .Then he founded Ratto and his sons are now a days living here. Grave of Aladad is available between Kala and Bahri nowadays too. Marth familly is in big numbers in Ratto which is from Alladad sons.

Village Pipli پپلی is located in District Mandi Bahauddin. It is away from District Mandi Bahauddin upto 63 KM and 40 KM from Tehsil Phalia.

Area of the Village:

Total area of the village is about 48 squares that is about 1,200 acres in which no one in the village contain more than 40 acres so no one is a big fish but it is almost equally distributed among prominent families.
