Village KADHAR کدھر is a beautiful village situated near Kuthiala Sheikhan on Sargodha Gujrat link road Mandi Bahauddin. Its just 10 kilometer away from Phalia in the West and almost 8 kilometer away from Kuthiala Shaikhan in the East.
Population
Kadhar is not a very big village. It consists of approximately 10,000 inhabitants. There are so many facilities available as compared to so many other villages like basic health center, educational system, telephone and electricity and hope so for sui gas in near future.
Founder of village
I have heard from my forefathers that a man come to this area from a village kadhar which was situated near the bank of river Ravi and he settled this village so after that this was named as Kadhar. He was Duddhi by caste.

It is popular all over the Pakistan that Mandi Baha ud Din,s people are very brave, very hardworking, very honest and loving. The people of my area are very nice and co-operative .The main source of income is obviously agriculture but now this trend is going to be end. Most of people are going abroad to find new ways to meet the demands of this new modern era.

Chaudhary Anser Iqbal Kadhar belongs to the Salabat Family of Kadhar sharif. His residence and guest house is located at dera salabat ka. He is a former president of youth wing of Yaqoub Shah College Phalia .He works tirelessly for the betterment of people of his area and fights for justice for poor people who are helpless. All needies of the are come to him for the solution of their problems. He also stood on the position of chairman of union council kadhar in recent elections but lost due to pressure of his opponents on voters. Anyone who needs help and justice should go to Mr. Ansar. His aim is to make the society a better place to live and maintain peace and harmony among his people.

I would like to tell some thing special about Sahibzada Farrukh Hafeez Sb Kadhar Shareef. He is doctor by profession and he has devoted himself as a social worker for his whole life that’s why he left a govt job for the service of humanity.
He is a religious personality and as i told above that he is a doctor (eye specialist) He has operated countless eye operation without getting any cost from any one either he is rich or poor without any discrimination. He managed free camps for eye operation all over in Pakistan through out year.

Jago kalan is situated South-West of City Phalia.Its founder is grandfather of Azhar Iqbal Tarar and his name is Ch. Rahmit Ali Tarar. People are very nice and village situated between Chak Abbdulla and Qadir Abad. In South of it is river Chenab. The population of my village is about 2000 people. Many people are living abroad to earn money and support their familes in their village.
My beautiful Village Helan ہیلاں is located in District Mandi Bahauddin and 20 K.M East South away from Mandi Bahauddin, 8 KM East North from Phalia, 20 KM South from Dinga, and 4 KM North from Mano Chak. Helan situated between Islamabad airport and Lahore airport. It is also in between Chenab River and Jhelum River.
There are two Main Canal passes besides Helan. Which are almost attached with it, one is “Phalia Branch Canal” and locally called “Choti Neher” (Small Canal). While other one is “RQ Link” locally called “Bari Neher”. Phalia Branch Canal is on East of Helan, While RQ Link is on East North of Helan Town. Early in the morning, peoples of Helan visit at the bank of the Canals.
History Of The Village:
Helan Town is an old Historical Town. No one can say that how much it is old. It is older more than Mandi Bahauddin city and as old as Phalia. Its old buildings are constructed with small brick of 6 inch length, 4 inch wide and 1.5 inch thick. History of Helan Town is related to Alexander time (Sikander-e-Azam).
Raja Hail Gakhar and Sheikh Ali Baig had a war in 999 hijri. Both of them died. The graves of Sheikh Ali Baig’s Army spreaded over 4.5 KM. In the courtesy of Raja Hail Gakhar, a small village was created on Dhakki which is surrounded by graveyard of Sheikh Ali Baig (most of his soldiers are buried there).
A village named Sokhali was basically named after two Hindu women Sokhali and Addo. Later it was changed into Sheikh Ali Pur on the name of Sheikh Ali bin Ali Hasan bin Arab.
Founder Of The Village:
It is not confirm that who is the founder of Helan, However some Historical Incidents and research show that Sikander-e-Azam passes through this area. Sikander-e-Azam was a King. He belonged to Eunan. He fights some war in this area (Helan and Phalia). According to history he may be founder of this Town . He defeat Raja Poras at the River Jhelum (PHALIA) and return his country but he was died in the way. In the past the River Jhelum passed near Sarli-e-Kalan, Phalia and Village Seria at Qadirabad road. Now there is a huge amount of sand is available since now.
Glorious Historical Building (Hanjeera):
There is an old historical building besides outside the Helan Town that calls “Hanjeera”. Its walls are 8.5 feet wide. It has four open doors. Kalma Tayaba is written on right and left of each door. It has four Mahrab. There are stairs in it for climb up the Hanjeera, which present an amazing view in it’s around. It was built on 999 Hajri (432 years before). There is an underground way which goes under the Hanjeera, local people think that, that is an underground way (Srung) which open somewhere else, but in actual it is not any underground way (Srung), actually real grave of Sheik Ali Baig S/O Hussain Ali Khan Arab and his friends are there, graves that are shown in Hanjeera upward that is just show off like Qaud-e-Mazar in Karachi.
Cement and steel are not used in its construction. It is built on an old style with some old type mixture (sand, powder of brick and lime etc.). It constructed dot shape and it is a sample for Building Engineer for good structure. There are three graves in its inside. One of them is Sheik Ali Baig S/O Hussain Ali Khan Arab, Qurani Ayyats are written on marble in one of them, many gossips listened about them and no news is confirmed about them except that these are of some Muslims Rulers or Kings. There is a graveyard East North of Hanjeera which contained 50 graves.
There is a “12 Dari” near the West of Hanjeera. There is also a Small Canal in the South locally called “SAME NALA” which is coming from Bhinder Kalan under the R.Q Line. (It call syphon). which is attached with Hanjeera and 15 feet down from the foundation of Hanjeera which go towards Phalia and move onward. Now this building is under the supervision of “Aasar-e-Qadeema”.It is founded that in old time, River Jhelum passes through a Village (Sirl-e-kalan) which is in between Helan and Mano Chak. Still now people of surrounding Villages are using sand of this area.
Situation Before Partition In 1947:
Population of Helan Town was mostly Muslims in 1947. (At the time of partition of subcontinent) there were some houses of Hindus and Sikhs. These Hindus were businessman and literate. Therefore they realize situation before 1947. Before the partition, there was a Boy’s Primary School, Middle Boy’s School and Girl’s Primary School. Before partition the student of Helan Village of 9th and 10 go to Makhanawali for study. Before 1947 there were a Katcha road from Helan to Mano Chak, Helan to Phalia, Helan to Dinga and Helan to Churond. There was not any metal road from Helan village to Mano Chak. GOVT built proper road in 1960 from Helan to Mano Chak, at that time there was only Transport used Tanga and Bicycle which speed is very slow which reach from Helan to mano chak within 30 minutes.

The Main Caste of Qasai (Alvi) of the Helan Village is hard working. They work throughout Punjab for a business. They are Bold and Honest, One of them Noor Mohammad Qasai (late) was shifted from Helan to Mandi Bahauddin, his sons are living in Mandi bahauddin. Qasai families are famous due to his job .The same case of the Minhas Rajput. They are Educated and shifted from Helan Village to Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, and Wazirabad, Karachi and Mandi Bahauddin.
After Partitions:
Haji Mian Muhammad Sharif (Minhas Raput), Master Abdullah (Bajwa) and Master Fazal Elahi (Bajwa), they built Islamia high school Helan in 1950. At the beginning they struggle to maintain Islamia high school for best in study and discipline. At that time 35 Villages of boys came here for Higher Education. At the beginning, Girls of the Helan study in this school in Hejab which was partitioned with a cloth. Now a day there are so many Tuition center for study.
Transport Early In The Morning:
One Bus goes to Lahore early in the morning at 4:30 A.M and reach in Lahore on Minari Pakistan at 8.00AM. Other one goes to Islamabad Early in the morning at 5:15 A.M and reach Islamabad (Faizabad) at 9:15 AM.
Other local transport continue from morning to Evening 9:00 PM. Local Hotels also work besides the road from morning to late Night.

Lumberdar is an honorable person in any Village. He guide people in the Kachehry and Thana system, If the Govt required an accused he help the Police to hand over that accuse to him. British Govt Establish the Lumberdari and Zeldar system in the Sub Continent, So that he rule 100 years at subcontinent.
There are three Lumberdar in this Village which are Govt person to receive the Revenue of crops and deposit in the kachehary .He appoint a Chowkidar which help him if the Police come to village for required an accused he help him in this case. He is very helpful for Govt and the local peoples. Now the Zaildar system has been finished but Lumberdari system is till working. There is no any Govt college.
Sui Gas is not available Wherever Sui Gas is passing 4 K.M away at Mano Chak.
No Govt. Hospital available.
Sewerage system is available in the Half Village and Half Village is without sewerage system.
Street lights are not available.
There is no any park available for enjoyment in extera time.
There is no any Govt college available for Girls and Boys, they have to go Phalia and Mandi Bahauddin city for study at inter level.
There is no Committee System .
No one promise to fulfil still now which was done by politics.

Following are the suggestions for their concerned Departments;- There must be provided a pucca road to the visitors so that they can easily reach to Hanjeera and repair this building . This road required length only 1/4 KM away from Mano Chak road. Hanjeera is only 4 KM away from Gujrat Mandi Bahauddin road.

Village Haigerwala or Haigarwala is divided into three main branches (Bara Haigerwala, Chota Haigerwala and Dera Warriachan). It is situated about 32 Km from Gujrat Haigarwala and 48 Km from Mandi Bahauddin on Gujrat-Sarghoda road. The nearest Police station is Pahrianwali which is about 1 Km.
History of the Village
Village Haigerwala is very old village. It was planed by Sheikh Dudmal (The Chaudary of Mund Dhudra, Gujrat), who further become Muslim from Hinduism. That’s why the main cast of the village is Dhudra. This village was ruled out by Sikh before 1857.
The source of income is majority depending on agriculture however a number of people is working abroad. There is one Govt. Elementary School for girls and two Primary schools for boys, while there is a number of private schools.
Our village Haiger Khurd ہیگر خورد or Haigar Khurd is in tehsil Phalia district Mandi Bahauddin. People are very respective, moderate, well educated and good host. Way of living is mixture of agricultural and city life. Some people are working in govt sector and many are abroad.

”’GOHRI”’ is a small and old village situated on the banks of a small canal meant originally for the forest of DAFFAR. The village consists of three main tribes namely ”’TUNGARS”’, ”’CHADHAR”’ and ”’SOHLAY”’. The agriculture land is also divided along the canal bank, north side dominated by SOHLA’s where as Southern side belongs to TUNGAR’s and CHADHAR’s. I belong to family of Tajy Kay Tungar’s. My maternal family belongs to Hidayat Kay Tungar’s of same village. So i have in other sense more responsibility towards promoting my village as my whole family history stars from Gohri and ends there as well. The village is having only a school till primary class. It is in true sense still a backward village that needs a lot in order to be able to catch up with other villages around it. Although overall area enjoys the general neglect by the governement agencies by over and above that GOHRI had been adversly affected by the lack of educational facilities or rather lack of interest of its inhabitents in the education. It is a village that has shown perfect content in the situation prevailing and everone is happy in the same state. However, this happiness is mostly because of the reason of their ignorance than anything else. The young generation has no idea at all as well as no guidance for seeking better future. Their local definition of better future is equally black. Most of them think if they will somehow or the other way manage to go abroad, all of their worries will be over. Few of the people who have been able to make their way up through the preavailing conditions are worth mentioning and I am mentiioning them not for the showing that we, the TUNGAR’s are superior or anything else but just for the sole purpose that one day someone will read it and will be inspired and try to imitate the same and achieve something for himself and his family. Village Ghoghanwali is in area of U.C#51 Chak Shahbaz Tehsil Phalia located on northern side of Phalia-Sial-mor road near bhekywal stop. The population of Village is round about 5,000 with majority of Naqvi Sadaat. Most of people are farmers and some reside in abroad. This village has honor of religious ritual and famous in Azadaari Imam Hussain AS. In the history of its ancestors Hazrat Peer Syed Waris Ali Shah Naqvi al Bukhari is the founder of Village.
The village is also birthplace of famous Peer Nausha Ganj Bakhsh of Ranmal shareef who’s parents were the disciple of Syed Waris Ali shah Bukhari. Moreover it has the honor with the shrine of Hazrat peer syed Qutab Ali shah Naqvi al Bukhari, Hazrat peer Zahoor Hussain Shah Naqvi al Bukhari, Hazrat Peer Syed Noor Hussain Shah Naqvi al Bukhari. Furthermore it is one of the biggest Gaddi of subcontinent as Hazrat Peer Waris Ali shah is known as the Peer of 7 states of Subcontinent and the current Gaddi Nasheen of Darbar is Syed Gul Peer Shah Naqvi al Bukhari. Moreover the village is place of sufi saints and religious personalities.
Ghanian گھنیاں is a village in Mandi Bahauddin, Punjab, Pakistan . It is located seven kilometers from Phalia in the direction of Ranmal Sharif on one side of the Chenab River near
Ghanian has all basic facilities; hospital, schools, telephones and good roads with transport to the nearest city Phalia. Most of the people are farmers by profession but since a couple of years ago, a lot of people have been employed in European countries, which has raised people’s life style. There are two main crops; rice and wheat. Local farmers make lot of money from ‘Colonel Basmati’ brand rice. The literacy rate is also going up, specially in women.
Village Ghagoki گھگوکی is located in tehsil Phalia, District Mandi Bahauddin. It is away 25KM from Tehsil Phalia & 47 KM From Mandi Bahauddin.
Area of the Village:-
Total area of the village is about 108 squares that is about 2,700 acres in which no one in the village contain more than 30 acres so no one is a big fish but it is almost equally distributed among prominent families.
It is not a very big village only about 200 houses are in it and about 1,100 peoples live in them. All the population of the village is Muslim among them all are SUNNY except some houses that is of SHIA. No non-Muslim is there in the village.
Registered voters:-
The number of registered voters in the village is 500 among them almost half of them are of female voters. Although village is small but at the time of election village splits into three parts. Each group tries to cast votes against each other. At the time of BD elections both males and females cast vote but at National and Provincial Assembly elections only males cast their votes.

Means Of Earning:-
Majority of the peoples earn their livelihood through agriculture. Few peoples are in Government services and among them most are in WAPDA and ARMY. Now there is trend among the youth to go abroad that’s why many peoples of the village are found in France, Spain, Greece, Italy, Kuwait, Saudi-Arabia, Muscat etc. in search of their earning.
Way of living:-
Peoples of the village live a simple life. They have very friendly behavior. Peoples are very much hostile, peaceful and sincere. Except few black sheeps vulgarity is an uncommon thing. People of the village go to their lands to care their cattles and crops and come back in the evening so they have a very busy life. Young boys play Cricket, VollyBall or play cards in their extra time. Peoples of the village remains careful about fight and misbehavior because if any body do a little mistake other party persons quickly report to the police at Thana Pharianwali.
Bazars And Markets:-
No Bazars or Markets are present in the Village Some General stores (Karyana shops) are present which provide commodities of daily use. Peoples have to go Pharianwali for major shopping .

There is Only One Jamia Mosques in the village.

Literacy rate of the village is much better. Almost every child of the village goes to school. There are five schools in the village. There is also One Private Schools in the Village.

Village is located almost 3/4 KM towards from HaigarWala. People of the village travel on Buses,Vans ,Rickhas from HaigarWala Bus Stop. Motor Cycles and Cycles are very common in the village which are used to go towards their lands or near by areas.

In the village Television, Radio, Tape Recorder, PTCL Phones and Mobile Phones with services of all the Telecom companies are present in almost every house. Few homes in the village also possess COMPUTERS in them very rare people use internet.

Problems of the Poor People:-
People of the village are not very rich nor very poor. Except few houses all other can earn their livelihood easily those who are poor they are helped by the other village people in the form of Fitrana or other things in the name of God so fortunately every one is able to eat honorably.
Problems of the Village’s People:-
As the Village is small so basic facilities are absent No hospital, No Markets, No college for Boys or Girls therefore peoples especially females have to face many difficulties in order to fulfill their daily or occasional necessities. Main problems of the village are as under.
Village Dugall is located in District Mandi Bahauddin. It is away from District Mandi Bahauddin upto 25 KM and 3 KM from Tehsil Phalia.

Crime rate in the Village
As it is already mentioned that most of the reports in Thana Phalia belong to this village in which most are to pull legs or arms of the opposing party but the steeling of cattle is an important problem faced by villagers especially JUTT families such Thieves does not belong to this village but to nearby villages whom names are not good to mention, in this village few black sheep in young generation are also going on wrong path.
