تاریخی حوالے سے دیکھا جاۓ تو برطانوی حکومت کے بعد دادا حبیب کا نام سندا کی تاریخ میں آتا ہے وه عظیم ولی اللّه تھے انہی کی وجہ سے سندا کو “سندا لوک فقیراں دا “کہتے ہیں۔ سندا کے جنوب میں ایک بہت پرانی مسجد ہے جسکو (پکی) مسجد کے نام سے جانا جاتا ہے یہ اس وقت کی مسجد ہے جب پورا گاؤں کچا تھا صرف اک یہ مسجد اینٹو ں سے بنائی گئی تھی. مسجد کے ارد گرد کی جگہ کچھ عرصہ پہلے تک کھنڈرات کی طرح محسوس ہوتی تھی وہاں سے مٹی کے برتن اور زمانہ قدیم کی چیزوں کا ملنا اس بات کی دلیل ہے کے سندا کے لوگ پہلے یہاں آباد تھے اور پھر آہستہ آہستہ موجودہ جگہ پہ آباد ہو گۓ ۔
آبادی:

کے نام قابل ذکر ھیں۔ موسیقی کے حوالے سے دیکھیں باطی خان جویہ ہمارے لوک گلوکار ھیں جو منڈی بہاوالدین کے ساتھ ساتھ سرگودہا، گجرات اور فیصل آباد کے علاقے میں بھی کسی تعارف کی محتاج نہیں ھیں۔ باطی خان جویہ پیشہ کے اعتبار سے ایک کسان ہے موسیقی کا شوق اور ذوق اس کے اندر شروع ھی سے تھا لیکن باقائدہ طور پر 1975 ء میں QR میوزک سنٹر میں اپنا پہلا والیم ریکارڈ کروایا جس میں انھوں نے اپنی محبت کی داستان بیان کی اور بتایا کے کیسے ظالم سماج راہ میں حائل ہوا۔ باطی خان جویہ نے زیادہ تر خود ھی لکھا اور گایا بھی لیکن تعلیم کی کمی اور وقت کی مصروفیت کی وجہ سے انکی گائیکی محدود رہی۔

لیکن اب نوجوان نسل میں زیادہ تر رجحان بیرونے ملک جانے کا ہے سندا کے بہت سے لوگ فرانس، سپین، اٹلی،امریکہ، کنیڈا، سعودی عرب، کویت یوں کہ لیں کہ دنیا کے 7 براعظموں میں سندا کے لوگ دیکھنے کو ملتے ھیں۔ سندا کے لوگ سادہ زندگی بسر کر رہے ھیں سب کے اک دوسرے کے ساتھ اچھے تعلقات ھیں اک دوسرے کے دکھ درد میں برابر شریک ہوتے ھیں۔
چند ایک خاندان ھیں جن کے آپس میں تعلقات ٹھیک نہیں ھیں دعا ہے کہ اللّه انکو مل جل کے رہنے کی توفیق۔ شام کے وقت بوڑھے اور نوجوان گپ شپ ک لیے داروں کا رخ کرتے ھیں اور ایک دوسرے کے مسائل پر بات چیت کرتے ھیں نوجوان بز رگوں سے پرانے قصے اور کہاوتیں سن کے لطف اندوز ہوتے ھیں۔

کھیلوں کے حوالے سے گاؤں میں لڑکے زیادہ تر کرکٹ کھیلتے ہیں فارغ وقت میں کام کاج فرصت ملے تو کھیل کے میدان کا رخ کرتے ہیں سندا کے مغرب کرکٹ کھیلنے کا وسیع میدان ہے جو خان سٹیڈیم کےنام سے جانا جاتا ہے اگر گاؤں کے پرانے مشہور اور بہترین کھلاڑیوں کی بات کریں تو سرِ فہرست افتخار احمد گوندل کا نام آتا ہے اسکے بعد طارق محمود گوندل محبوب حیدر شاہ اور محمد اعظم وغیرہ کے نام شامل ہیں۔
شادی بیاہ کے موقع پر علاقہ کی رسم و رواج کو ملحوظ خاطر رکھا جاتا ہے. شادی کی ایک رسم جو زمانہ قدیم سے چلتی آ رہی ہے “رسمِ حنا “سب ہی کوئی امیر ہے یا غریب اسکو اپنی شادی کا حصہ بناتےہیں بالخصوص اسکو ہمارے بہت پیارے دوست ہر دلعزیز شخصیت سعد ظفر گوندل عرف (HUNTER) کا اپنے ساتھیوں کے ساتھ مل کر بھرپور طریقے سے منانا اس بات کی دلیل ہے کہ ہم اپنے کلچر کے ساتھ جڑے ہوئے ہیں۔

گاؤں میں 3سرکاری، 2 پرائیویٹ سکول اور ایک سرکاری ہسپتال ہے سندا کے سرکاری سکول جو لڑکوں کا ہے اس کا یہ ریکارڈ رہا ہے کہ پانچویں کلاس کے سنٹر امتحان میں ہر سال اول پوزیشن لیتا ہے اس لحاظ ہمارا سیاسی قیادت سے مطالبہ ہے کہ گاؤں میں کم از کم مڈل یا پھر ہائی سکول کی سطح تک تعلیمی سہولت میسر ہونی چاہئیے اور اس کے ساتھ لڑکیوں کے سکول کیلئے بھی یہی مطالبہ ہے جس سے اہلِ علاقہ مستفید ہو سکے۔
